Along with tons of drops by Nebraska ball catchers... Everyone is hammering that kid Martinez but the fact is he did not throw that badly... Nebraska had 3 dropped TD passes on 3 different drives... take away the FG that resulted in on of the drops and Nebraska wins the game with the extra 18 pts easy... The real issue was the early fumble and the Texas offensive coaches brilliance in using the QB to run the ball...something he had not done all season... they must have seen something about the Nebraska defense on film which helped them jump out to a 10-0 lead... changed the game really... Nebraska D figured it out but being down in a an early hole meant Nebraska played tight...
I still think Nebraska is a top 10 team... they just seem to have quite the jinx against Texas... guess that is why they want out of the Big 12...hahComment -

I will offer congrats to Texas backers as well but I would not be so quick to jump away from the Huskers just yet... I think they have plenty of value still...
Their defense was hardly the problem and the drops made the offense look inept when a few simple catches in clutch situations might have swung the game in a whole different direction... Lets not forget that the Texas QB completed just 4 passes all day...Comment -
