This is very bad news for the NFC North. If the ViQueens get Syndey Rice back (still iffy) - their offense is going to be every bit as good, if not better, than that team that should've won the Superbowl with Moss/Reed/Carter/Robert Smith. With Moss, they are going to be lethal as hell. If they have Moss/Rice? Jesus... And Harvin, and Shiancoe and what'shisname? That running back? Peterson? Yeah, I guess he's o.k. Haha wow, what an offensive unit.

This makes 'ol Teddy Thompson's non-move to get Lynch an ever bigger deal. Who knows, maybe it was the right move... But sheesh, the Pack has to do SOMETHING. You won't get far without any sort of running game.

One thing the pats are not is idiots they are giving up a lot here but there has to be an underlying reason they wont just drop such a weapon for no reason.

Once Moss is traded and Wes Welker gets injured again. The Patriots are screwed.

Vikings should put up loads of points the rest of the season.

This is a huge gamble for the Vikings. The long term deal isn't signed yet. If it does get done before Monday night, they better hope Favre can last the season otherwise they bought Randy for another 3 years for big money with TJ at QB. Good luck Viking fans!!!!

Viqueens still won't get it done this year. Look at Moss's numbers this year pathetic. Guy didn't even have a catch against the Dolphins nice dropped pass in the end zone. Moss is much like Owens now in his career. They both have lost a step and are cancer's to a team. Moss belongs in Minnesota because Moss has never won a super bowl and neither have the Viqueens franchise. Reading up on Sydney Rice sounds like he might not even play this year. The problem with the Viqueens is an old washed up Brett Favre some of you clowns don't realize this. You can put Reggie Wayne and Andre Johnson on this team can Favre get him the ball no. His body is so beat up from all the years in this league and the beating he took from the Saints last year. His ankle is no where near 100 percent. I doubt he makes it thru the game vs the Jets can imagine the beating he will take this game. So the Viqueens get older and get rid of draft picks for a washed up wideout great move. Is Al Davis running the show in Minny or Daniel Snyder?

Agreed Moss is somewhat overrated and past his prime but he is a huge pickup-one or two year deal for MIN. Does is signify an admission of a rebuilding year for NE? Good luck

Patriots are retarted. Tom Brady's stock just went down hella. Basically starting week 6-7 the Vikings are going to be a crazy team, Randy Moss + Sydney Rice = WEAPONS of mass destruction plus they have Harvin and Berrian if he ever get his head out of his ass.

Big mistake by the Patriots.. If they had any chance at a run at the superbowl, it just got squashed..

Check my beat the prick status, all of those games I place a 2 unit wager on.. If you're part of that contest I would love to see the results, I highly doubt you are beating me there. Keep rooting for those titans man, you have an awful qb, an over-rated rb and no ******* defense. oh, and have fun prematurely blowing your load to chris johnsons gold grill and anus blasting yourself to jeff fishers beard. and for the record, i hedged the golf bet to guarantee money... i know your simple mind isn't on to advanced betting tactics such as that, take a lesson fourth and ******* stupid. Packers could've went after Randy Moss when the Pats got him, but Thompson doesn't go that route. In-game coaching and general preparation heavily favors the Pats if you really want to compare these two franchises. Forget about getting up for big games. The Bears game last Monday night is the perfect example of how McCarthy gets outcoached by staffs as mediocre as Lovie Smith's. How did the Pats do in similar circumstances on Monday? Big difference between 3 rings and zero rings.

Also, if you think the Pats are a cinch to make the playoffs, nothing's a cinch in the NFL. The Jets aren't going away, plus the Pats already lost @ NY, so even though the Pats are 3-1 overall and 2-1 in division, the Jets have them trumped at this point. The Pats don't have much room for error if they want to win the division. Going into the playoffs as a wildcard is always a crapshoot, I can't imagine the AFC North not sending at least 2 teams, not to mention the AFC South, even AFC West could send 2 teams with their soft scheduling this season. If you want the playoffs as a Pats fan, you gotta beat the Jets in the rubber match as well as not losing ground to them during the season to feel much confidence. Maybe sending Moss to Minny is waving the white flag that this team isn't going anywhere this year and they're focussing on rebuilding for the future.

History shows that we usually split with the jets, as well as the fins, I'm not worried about it. keep in mind the bears lost their starting qb in the first half. I know he finished the first half of that game, but with a concussion he was clearly not the same cutler. If he doesn't get hurt, i guarantee the bears don't lose by 2 td's. Also, did you ever think that maybe the monday night game was a test? It isn't out of this realm for belichick to say to brady, "let's see how we do without moss tonight." Notice how much action brandon tate got that night, it was a tryout right then and there. We beat arguably our biggest threat withous moss catching a single ball. It only makes sense for us to drop him and get the utmost value for him before it was too late. Until the patriots get rid of brady and bill, we are still the team to beat in the afc east in my completely biased opinion lol

Belichick is the team, IMHO. As for players, the Pats don't have nor have ever had an overwhelming advantage in the talent department. Brady is fine as a QB, but the comparisons between him and Peyton are kinda silly. Brady is just a solid guy that can get it done in the clutch but has also made key mistakes in the clutch, I keep thinking back to that Broncos game years ago. I kinda wish the Pats would let Brady go and get more of a blue collar guy to kinda prove my point, that they don't need a high profile QB to win, Brady was much more low profile when the Pats had their largest successes in terms of Super Bowl wins.

I know I was calling Kuhn a "slow white guy", which he is, but he's also a fan favorite and a fantastic locker room guy. I'm a big believer in team chemistry and sometimes it's worth it to avoid screwing with that chemistry. I kinda wanted Ted Thompson to bring in a RB to replace Ryan Grant, but it's maybe tough to find a quality guy that won't cause waves in the locker room, especially on a relatively young team.
