One big difference between Pats & Packers is coaching and front office. Packers could've went after Randy Moss when the Pats got him, but Thompson doesn't go that route. In-game coaching and general preparation heavily favors the Pats if you really want to compare these two franchises. Forget about getting up for big games. The Bears game last Monday night is the perfect example of how McCarthy gets outcoached by staffs as mediocre as Lovie Smith's. How did the Pats do in similar circumstances on Monday? Big difference between 3 rings and zero rings.

Also, if you think the Pats are a cinch to make the playoffs, nothing's a cinch in the NFL. The Jets aren't going away, plus the Pats already lost @ NY, so even though the Pats are 3-1 overall and 2-1 in division, the Jets have them trumped at this point. The Pats don't have much room for error if they want to win the division. Going into the playoffs as a wildcard is always a crapshoot, I can't imagine the AFC North not sending at least 2 teams, not to mention the AFC South, even AFC West could send 2 teams with their soft scheduling this season. If you want the playoffs as a Pats fan, you gotta beat the Jets in the rubber match as well as not losing ground to them during the season to feel much confidence. Maybe sending Moss to Minny is waving the white flag that this team isn't going anywhere this year and they're focussing on rebuilding for the future.

Brady is just a solid guy that can get it done in the clutch but has also made key mistakes in the clutch, I keep thinking back to that Broncos game years ago. I kinda wish the Pats would let Brady go and get more of a blue collar guy to kinda prove my point, that they don't need a high profile QB to win, Brady was much more low profile when the Pats had their largest successes in terms of Super Bowl wins.

matt casell was that guy... nothing flashy, just played decent enough to win. But i definitely think brady deserves to be in the same breath as peyton, he does have 3 times as many superbowls as him you know green bay is solid my man, if they don't make the playoffs it's a ******* sham lol
