Is there an update on this, I would love to play but need time to setup and fund an acct....at least let us know what site we are looking at so we can get it working in the next few days.

i doubt this is happening. EOG has a poker tournament for pokerstar on thursdays i think.

I'd play, but usually these tournaments don't jive with my schedule. I'm usually only online in the wee hours of the a.m.

I agree, Korbin's hot. She does youtube videos answering questions that are posted. Then this posters wife puts up some great pictures in A&E eog.com but I disagree about the main forum. It's not bad.

Also, I believe this was mentioned before, but a good method for advertising a site such as SBR is mentioning it at the poker tables. I am not sure how many people signed up because of me doing this, but I am sure there must be a few, and I imagine a lot of "lurkers". This works better if your playing poker at a sports-site such as BoDog, Skybook, Cris, etc...

Any news to report on this ?

Agree. I'm not going out of my way to deposit just to play in the tournament, it's a cool idea but I'd rather wait until basketball passes to get situated with poker.

pokerstar pissed me off. i flopped a straight. i went all in (raise 200 in a 1-2 NL table), the other person who called me was fishing for a king high flush and finally got it on the river.

that same day(same guy), i flopped 2 pairs (8,5 out of 3,5,8 rainbow). i went all in (about 150 in a 1-2 NL)...he called, and he got nothing. caught pair of Q on the turn, and the river is a 3...he beat me with hole card of Q-7.

You would think someone from SBR would address this. Last month they said it would happen this month ? Guess they still have a a week left ? Decent thread going here with interesed people and then nothing.

That's what you get for playing on RIVERstars, but then again all online poker is rigged.

i changed my strategy there. right now i am the fishing king or the river king. paysoff is big when you finally caught the river. tripled up couple of times.

I'm interested provided I have the cash and it doesn't conflict with my schedule. I figure it something that we should just pick a day of the week (or 2 days/week) to do and leave it at that. Figure $20/week at most. I have never been an EOG member so I don't know how they do it over there but if you get alot of people and want to make it quick think about shortening the # of hands between blind raises.
