The public was all on OKST today, so why did Vegas move the line down to 2.5? Weird

ok? i guess man.. i mean A&M was up 14 at the half.. and came back down 14pts with 8 mins left in the game..

and they had the ball with 1:30 left in the game and they were driving.. game was there's to loose the entire time bro.. again after watching that game.. if you want to sit here and tell me that you truly believe that Ok St was the better team last night.. again more power to you man..

anybody who says A&M wasn't the "books" play last night is a moron. They don't move off of 3 unless they are very confident in an outcome.

its all fixed the books know who is going to win and set the line to make the players lose.

reality is if you lost this game you should give up, the books got killed.

              Really? the books got killed?

they pushed more or less on the over/under so they don't loose money there

they didn't have to pay out the +120-115 lines on the A&M side

They didn't have to pay out anyone who was sitting on a +3 or -3 which is probably 90% of where the money was for this game..

They only had to pay out the people paying the juice on the moneyline..

I think the books overall didn't win or loose at all with this game man.. what you don't realize is they were only a few plays from really cashing in big on this game!!

this isn't my opinion.. its a fact man..

the thing is that its no coincidence that the public loses more than it wins.. linesmakers set the lines for whats in the best interest of the books and if you saw the game, you would know that a&m should have not only covered, but shoulda won straight up ..they totally gave that game away..whether you like it or not a&m was the right play ..stop being naive ...

couldnt agree more.. all i did was post my opinion to the question made in the title of the thread, i comeback the next day and im getting recommended to go to a mental health specialist...

instead of stating a case to why one might have been wrong, people just insult...

                                oh well..

Sharps move lines not the public. The books don't move lines if 90% of the public bets one side. In fact they will move the opposite direction if the people they respect are betting the other side.

This is similar to the Washington-Houston game.

I would still take Washington every single time in that spot just like a&m here.

A few fish got lucky and think its long-term winning play.
