Look if you don't absolutely need your check right now, just wait a bit and let the dust settle. We'll know a lot more in several weeks. I have always preferred checks and can surely wait a couple of weeks before requesting the next one.

Each bank has the same routing number for all their accounts.

and BkofAma gives you different wire transfer details than your regular checking account. sure, your routing/aba number/acct number will work just fine to receive wires, but if you ask them, they will tell you the wire transfer info to give to whomever is sending you a wire, and this info only works with incoming wire transfers. it's simply not possible for somebody to do an instant deposit transfer with this wire info.
