#37Yeah, no doubt. Rivers is the best player on that team. Chargers may have issues right now, but it ain't Rivers.Originally posted by madmaxxYou are not a Charger fan.Comment -

#38As I was leaving the game last Sunday people were calling into the radio screaming for Tolbert. It's hilarious how people almost seem excited when a franchise RB gets hurt.Originally posted by slacker00Yeah, no doubt. Rivers is the best player on that team. If that guy really considers himself a Charger fan though he is out of his mind. Rivers played with a torn MCL in one leg and torn ACL in the other leg in the AFC Championship game, not sure what more "winner's mentality" you would want.Comment -

#39You would talk shit about my 7 year old son who has nothing to do with this because you have no good response. "We had Cromartie." WTF does that mean? Now you don't and your team is suffering because of it. It wasn't Cromartie that threw 2 picks in the playtoffs last year. It was that guy in YOUR avatar. You know the difference between your avatar and mine? Yours is a photo of someone You'd like to be. Mine is a photo of someone who wants to be me. Get off of Rivers, Sazchez' , Me and my Son's jock.Originally posted by madmaxxWe had cromartie, who is a Jet now. And who's that retard in your avatar, hopefully not your son. Wow. Very hostile. Your son looks like he has downsyndrome, thats why I asked if he was a make a wish kid, thought maybe you did a good deed or something. My team is not suffering, we're 1-2 and fine. I don't want to be Philip Rivers. I wish your kid had a chance to be you but he'll end up being in the special olympics, where everyone wins!
Pretty disturbing to tell me to get off your sons jock, sickoComment -

#46It's his second year and he runs the offense smoothly, that already makes him better than most NFL QBs. Your hatred of him is probably just a reaction to the ESPN hype machine.Originally posted by madmaxxHe fukking sucks. If he wasn't on Hard Knocks no one would know who he was.Comment -

#48Sanchez aint fooling me, if you know anything about football, the passes he was connecting on, were basically quick slants off of 3 step drops. So the verdict still stands, give him time to think and he will implode. The game moves fast in the NFL but he thinks it moves faster than it does, he still plays like he's on pins and needles, but for the plays the Jets call, which are peck here peck there he can survive with that until he plays against better corners who are jamming the WR's more.Comment -

#49Average to below average QB at this point. Have potential to become better. That's the assessment since the start of the year. People need to stop reevaluating him after every game.Comment -

#50You weren't totally wrong. He can be a bum.
But yes he steps it up in big moments.
I like him and the Jets to do a lot of damage when all is said and done.

I agree....talent wise Sanchez can't compare to the physical QB abilities of a Ben Rothlisberger or a Phillip Rivers. It's not even close.
Sanchez has a lot of success because of the system and play calling around him....plus he has talented WR's that can make even Jimmy Claussen look like a stud.
Bottom line is that if you had a Phillip Rivers, Ben Roethlisberger or even a Kyle Orton on that Jets offense they would be 3-0 right now.
But I will give Mark Sanchez credit....he hustles and he is trying to get better and better everyday.
