That was awful, reminded me of the Bubby Brister shovel pass from years ago.

i think most people are being too hard on him cuz hes on one of the New York/Jersey teams ... he's in his second year! he was a rookie last year...let him get some experience, he seems to be improving based on last week and tonight..in week 1 he looked bad, but that Ravens D can make anyone look bad...

Sanchez has some very talented wide receivers and can throw the "hot pass" between 10-15 yards very accurately to. Remember he will only get better as Santonio Holmes comes back in week 5 and Sanchez can then air out some deep "jump balls" like Moss does to Brady or the way Eli used to do with Plaxico.
That is great for cheap yardage and some extra TD passes.
In other words, Sanchez is only gonna get better.

i cannot bet on this team because during the whole game i am hoping rex chokes on a donut and sanchez has a career ending injury
Add the pressure on him and so far he is better than anyone thought

A lot of players and QB look decent when they aren't facing a top 10 defense....

He ended the game if that asshole could have caught the ball......instead he's all smiles. I love you LT but I can't wait til SP95 puts you in the hospital in the playoffs this year.

Playoffs? Judging by your avatar you are a Chargers fan. I don't think you should be talking about playoffs right now.

Im rolling with Zeta on this one.. Sanchez has had way to many shitty games to make me a believer after a few decent ones.

Started 2-3 every year under Norv..1-2 now...oh dear lets panic.
We went and played the 16-0 Pats in the AFC Championship game in Foxborough and lost by 9 without LT, Gates and Merriman.......oh yeah, we started 2-3 that year too.

And judging by yours you're a raider fan? Nice to have a guy who can kick a 55 yarder....but shanks a 32-yarder to win it. 15 and 16 in a row coming up, enjoy bitch

Drafted Dirty Sanchez late in Fantasy (2 qb league) and got laughed at. 25pts put me over last night for the Win... I'm the only one laughing in my league haha. I've got Holmes on the back-burner for the deep double bubble too. Hope it continues.

Average, but average can get the job done when surrounded by good players. Not every QB has to be an all-star.
I hate betting on NY teams, but the Jets have been good to me so far.

As a charger fan, I can only laugh at this. I wish we had a QB like Sanchez. I absolutely hate Rivers.
Now that's a qb that sucks. We will never win anything because of him, he doesn't have that winning mentality, folds in big games.
Sanchez is playing like a beast right now.

Didn't the Chargers and Jets meet in the Playoffs last year? Weren't the Chargers the hottest team in the NFL going into that game with an 11 game winning streak? Who won that game? Didn't Rivers throw more picks that Sanchez? What makes you think this year will be any different?

I'd take Sanchez over at least half the other starters in the NFL right now. I'd maybe even take him over Ben in leadership & clutch ability.
