Andy Reid is just a hard head. If he really wanted to win football games and wasn't so concerned about keeping his word, he's start the better QB.

This is just another example of the media making a story where there is none. I'm an avid Eagles fan and if nothing else during Reid's tenure, he is loyal to a fault to his QB. The "fans" couldn't run McNabb out until the time was right. You're a moron if you think Kolb isn't going to be afford his opportunity. Vick may get more PT, but in all honesty the times when the offense got into a rut last year with McNabb were when they forced Vick into the mix. Will be interesting, but the media can suck my ass again because there is no story here.

He was throwing the deep ball like Donnie Mac and wasn't hurling the easy ones at his targets' feet. He also put a sick move on a free blitzer. If it ends up that McNabb got shipped out for Vick, I think it would still be a marginal improvement.

I was touting Kolb hard in the offseason, and I think he might still turn out to be really good, but if he has a couple bad games, I might actually start believing the theories that Vick was actually QB insurance, just in case Kolb turned out to be a workout warrior. I'd like to see Vick start against a good team that was game-planning for him before I start drinking the kool-aid though.

Well said, I would also like to see what Kolb does against a good team for a whole game but I am afraid he wont last with that O-Line. Kolb would have been killed today.

Yes he would have, he would have been sent out with another concussion. And thats what makes me want Vick in, the o-line is weak this season and they won't be able to protect Kolb for long...

I am pro-kolb but after today it was clear that very very quickly vick became a leader and the team was behind him 100% and so were the fans. Kolb will be fine but it will be a rough road if he doesn't unload on Jax next week.
