Got shut down for winning too much ...
... and now I need a new book to take my action. I am far from a professional gambler and have had good times/bad times, but I won over $15K over the last week and my maximums have been lowered from $1000 to $25 a wager. The book has been honorable so far in sending me my winnings in the past, and I hope that continues, but ...

I now need a new book. I am from the States and need a place where there are ways I can deposit my funds without a problem. Credit cards are not an option (my company does not allow such transfers), nor are money orders, as I don't trust them. I want to use instacheck or something like that ...

Any ideas, guys and gals? Help is appreciated!

Bodog, 5Dimes, and Skybook all do accept Echecks. The problem is they all do limit your weekly deposits at like $300-$500 per week, however you might be able to get your limits raised if you fax them your info.

Unless this has changed in the past 6 months or so. They are no longer allowing new registrations from the general public. Players will be declined a new account unless they are referred by an established Heritage user.

I wouldn't mind having that problem.

Thanks for the input. And I agree, while it is a nice problem to have, I lost 5-7 to them before the winning streak -- you'd think, judging by my history, they'd know they would probably win most of the winnings back, but I guess they didn't want to take the chance.

I just have my fingers crossed I get the 15K, 3K at a time each week ... think I will, won't die of shock if I don't, but knowing this site is here and that the moderators will help if there is a problem has really put my mind at ease.

This is a great site ...

I don't want to say, as they've been very professional in every other way and have always been prompt with payments (hope this continues) -- if they do as I expect them to, there's no reason to single out a book that made an economic decision that they felt I was not a profitable player for them to have ... if they don't pay me, however, I'll take out a banner with their name from the highest mountaintop:O

Don't think it will come to that, however!!

Thats not professional? I would be pretty happy to have a job that paid 15k per YEAR

Yep, it's rating is in the 'B' range and they are more of a recreational book than anything else. It was my first experience with a book and I didn't know they couldn't/wouldn't handle bigger action if they began to lose. I doubt it's a book that most of you here use, however ...

                                        Thanks, Dan.

And Rake, I think it was a combination of the 15K in one week and the fact all I bet was moneylines, $1K per bet, since the New Year started. I was just a few late baskets from winning another 10K.

One of my worst victories was early in the college football season, before my moneyline fascination took hold ... I bet on Syracuse +39 points against Louisville and Syracuse won straight out ... the moneyline was +7000 ... I only won $464 on my $500 that day, but I am sure somebody won the big bucks ... they never offered a moneyline over +1600 after that day, on any event!
