As mentioned in the title I'm adding 40 points to the prize pull... Number and word answers points will be awarded to the first one to give a response (ie no repeats)... If anyone is suspected having inside information they will have their entry thrown out and entry fee returned (ie if you know more then one or two answers stay out of the contest)... I reserve the right to alter the rules if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances...

September 20th is the deadline I posted above... Can't believe that no one hasn't entered yet.. I figured with me offering a overlay all the points whores would be all over this... Personally I added the 40 points because I did some calculations and I'm (my math skills aren't the best so I'm only pretty sure...) guessing there are at least 42 points worth of value in just getting Fishhead's answers... Obviously I rounded down on the overlay just to insure this was +EV for me...

I already have a least another 5 or so burning questions for Fishhead I was going to use for a Round 2 but without more interest I'm not sure I will offer this up again...

Gold Spike was my first thought when I wrote question 18 since about the only worse place you could stay in what is considered downtown or the strip would probably be the Western and I can't see them comping rooms to anyone (although if anyone could score a free night there it would be Fishhead)... Of course there are some pretty dumpy locals casinos that could qualify (I'm thinking about the North Las Vegas area) as well but not sure which (if any of the one's I'm thinking of) have hotels attached...

I was also assuming pre-renovations Gold Spike as they have actually cleaned up the property some and IMO El Cortez is currently more need of cleaning up... I personally haven't stayed at either (but will admit that had a room one night at one of the more shady non-casino motels in that area but ended up not sleeping there)...

True story... I later saw the hotel "featured" on Cops with metro doing prostitution stings out of it...

This actually happened on my first trip to Vegas (I had been staying at the Lady Luck but my flight got canceled and, I figured I could easily get a room somewhere, so I told them to just get me on a flight the next day instead of having to fly stand by or whatever... After setting this up with the airline I went back to the Lady Luck they wanted like $200 a night because it was last minute and the Kentucky Derby was the next day... I started walking east looking for a cheaper room and everything was booked up until I found something approaching the Western (ie not a good area in Vegas)... Anyhow I booked the room, put my stuff in it, and went back downtown and started playing poker... I ended up playing all night anyhow so I never went back to the room till the next morning in a cab heading towards the airport...

After two days without a shower and playing poker on no sleep I flew back home and had a friend pick me up at the airport and we went straight to an off-track place to bet the Derby...

edit: Today I would never book a room in such a place because I'm confident I could find safer places on the street to sleep... (and, yes, I now always bring a sleeping bag when I travel)...

I'm thinking the rule about repeat answers not counting needs to be changed... In particular the dumpster diving questions seems (unlikely) to be more then 6 or so so all the "good" guesses are getting snatched up (and we starting to get repeats that ignore the rule)... The new rule is that number answers can be repeated while word answers cannot and I will reward full points to anyone who answers a number question correctly...

If anyone wants to change an answer, given the rule change, feel free... I'll also refund any entries in the next 24 hours or so (basically till whenever I wake up tommorrow afternoon) if anyone feels they have been hustled or cheated or whatever by this rule change (which I view as neccessary)...
