Hell,Allegiant airlines serves allot of the airports near the 1000 post posters and they charge anywhere from $125 to a little over $200 tax included for round trips to Vegas.

Anyone here ever take Allegiant to Vegas?Very comfortable seating but you have to buy soft drinks and snacks and pay extra for bags other than carry ons.Real bare bones discount airline.

laying around the pool is nice. so is listening to ganchrow...but i can only take 10 minutes of smart guy talking before fall into a coma. and i don't plan to blow my entire bankroll on the craps table or the poker table, so i am up for outdoor activities.

i am not really found of vegas hookers. so if anyone wants to go shoot some coyotes in the desert, i am up for it.

You have your choice of The Gold Spike,El Cortez or The Western for rooms.I have stayed at all 3 places not because I wanted to, mind you.Has anyone else here even ventured close to those flea bag ridden dumps?If you are a non smoker and don't want a smoker of ten years lungs,do not get close to these places.It's very scary walking between these places and the beginning of downtown at Freemont Street.By accident I was flipping channels one night and I saw a movie called El Cortez that was all about the seedy side of Vegas.I could write volumes on all my journeys through the underbelly of Las Vegas.I'm sure if Big Bullock is still around,he could tell some tall tales about his ventures into those places too.I think that's why he left Vegas.

i stayed at golden spike for a night. i think it was 20 dollars a night...breakfast included.

another time i stayed in a motel for 50 dollars, man it was worse than golden spike.

after that i learned the lesson to check into a hotel room before i hit the craps table.

golden spike has a parking lot with cameras...i feel little bit safer, but it is still pretty seedy. el cortez is better than golden spike. enough said
