I was at one of the worst high schools in Memphis which is top 3 city in violent crime. Metal detectors, cops in hallways, etc. we had the works. Bullets flying over the practice field across the street from the projects made me reconsider what I was doing.

I can't say I have ever had that happen at practice but the rest is everyday life around there... Bullets fly but not over the practice field ..f*ck that I wouldn't have it...

I don't mind all the other sh*t although I don't pefer it... What bothered me was when you call "slot left" and they line up in "slot right" because their head is not there..or when a kicker decides he wants to do an onside kick for the hell of it and not tell anyone...or when your QB and his girlfriend both miss the same day of school and she ends up pregnant...

I coached in a suburb when my brother (kicker) got into HS and they are a lot easier to coach...

It is a great and generous thing to host, but I wouldn't be worried about them going overboard, they make good money and I'm sure can withstand hosting this kind of affair without breaking the bank.

I went to the '07 Bash. The rooms, catering and prizes were nice but you had to put up with those self-serving scumbags for 2 days.
