Curious, you are my new SBR hero! I am not a fan of "newer" Genesis, but the line, "Gambling only pays when you`re winning..." comes to mind. Something tells me that the band UK would be familiar to you. Kinda commercial, progressive rock, but still one of my favorite bands. Have a great day.

Genesis hasn't recorded a song that I could listen to without throwing up since Wind and Wuthering (at which point they became Phil Collins and his backup band). Wind is by far their best album.

UK, who wouldn't like them. My favorite drummer Bill Bruford (made Alan White sound so sick, compare Close to the Edge with Bruford on drums and Close to the Edge with White on drums, it isn't even the same song). I love Alan Holdsworth. Soft Machine's "Slightly All the Time" is a classic. I always liked Roxy music too. Eddie Jobson gave UK their out of place, out of time sound.
