subway $5 footlong sandwich is not that good a deal

problem is not enough meat so you have to get double meat (more money) overpriced chips and drinks. quality level extremely low grade but edible. you can do better out of a deli quality wise but price will be about the same in this overpiced restaurant/pizza shop era.

Yeah when it comes to subs Subway is definitely on the bottom of the list. Yes, they have great bread choices but thats like the entire sandwich, very little meat and cheese. Id much rather hit up WaWa, Quiznos, Quick Check, or my local Tastee Sub Shop for a nice sub.

The rest of their prices are normal.

When I was in Florida, tried Firehouse Subs, they tasted delicious. Not cheap but really big portions. Wished they had some here. Quiznos is not too bad.

I go to Subway from time to time, but I dont consider it a good value. $5 footlong + chips + drink + tax = $8 If I just need to fill up cheap I'll hit the McD $1 menu. 5 double cheeseburgers for $5 = full all day

I can agree that it might not be a great deal past the surface but a foot-long from them is usually enough of a meal if you load it up with the veg you like and it will fill you for 5 bucks. I can cope with that.

No way...McDonalds is way better than Subway, in value and taste. Most subway's are owned by Indians (dots) which is why they give very little meat, charge $1 for fountain refills, and put one small napkin in your bag for a footlong sub and if you want more you have to go up to the counter.

I have nothing against them as a people...Im just pointing out my observation...Subway stinks.

Bro just say it how it is...Indian people tend to be some of the greediest selfish kind, I know from experience. These guys need to lighten up and share the wealth, give a little damn it!

I do like Subway, much better than McD's or BK, Wendy's...that food is pure garbage. If I wanted to die early I'd rather do some hard drugs. Subway got that Southwest Chipotle sauce and its good on practically anything, great stuff.

Plus...whats healthier? A big loaf of bread with a ton of veggies, or a freakin microwaved Cheeseburger that's been sittin on the counter for a few hours. I remember one day I ate the half pounder from BK and literally felt like I was going to die for the rest of the day. I could barely move, was so exhausted like I just ran 30 miles. Nasty stuff man.
