subway $5 footlong sandwich is not that good a deal

everybody i know keeps tellin me that the five dollar footlong is such a great deal but why? its bread and vegetables mostly, they put very little meat on the sandwich. how about if you want a drink or chips then you leaving there spending 8 bucks or whatever people are all fooled into thinking its a good deal its not.

it could be because subway is garbage. When I get the idea of having a sub, subway is not even on the list. And that deal is a crock of shit, it is all bread and their quality of ingredients is crap.

Cold Cut Combo...toasted...Lettuce/pickles/american cheese. Top it off with the southwest chipotle sauce.

No. The best deal for $5 is at the deli of the grocery store. I get a $5 footlong with all the meat and cheese I want there all the time.

No way...McDonalds is way better than Subway, in value and taste. Most subway's are owned by Indians (dots) which is why they give very little meat, charge $1 for fountain refills, and put one small napkin in your bag for a footlong sub and if you want more you have to go up to the counter.

I have nothing against them as a people...Im just pointing out my observation...Subway stinks.

I can get two huge fresh slices of pizza with a a pop for $3

Oh yeah the sub I ate had 900 calories and 2500mg of sodium, super healthy.

I'd rather go to the grocery store and buy fresh food.

I Like Subway a lot, we used to have 4 dollar footlongs on Panama, but the promo was repleaced with 5.75 Dollars Footlong that comes with a cookie or chips and a soda with refill.

for my money the best deal is mcdonalds bacon and cheese angus. 6 or 7 or 8 bucks - depending on how ghetto the mcdonalds is - will get you a large soda, great burger, and large fries.
