(I broke the scale about month ago when I stepped on the plastic face when I got out of the shower... although I don't think my wife believes this... ) I've cut out all fast food from my diet and lost some weight but I still need to lose some more...

I've also told my wife that I would quit smoking in a few weeks (she is getting a new job and wants to be around me as little as possible during this period and told me I can't start till she starts work again...) I smoke like a pack and half a day (for like 10 years now...) so I think this more important then a losing weight right now... honestly, I think if I did both at the same time I would need to be on suicide watch...
When I first started I ate alot of subway(the leaner cuts like turkey, club, ect with no mayo of course. It worked pretty well. To help you quit smoking a few years ago my dad developed mouth cancer. He has come back over and over and last year they had to give him hardcore chemo which burned him to a crisp. They also had to remove part of his tongue so he is hard to understand now. He was in excruciating pain for weeks and could not even move off the couch. That is what you can expect if you continue to smoke. Enjoy.

I know I am gonna open myself to ridicule but here are some before and after photos. Please only view them on an empty stomach as I cannot be held responsible for your dry cleaning bill. Tonights pics were taken after a carb meal and about 2 gallons of water today so I am majorly bloated now. Cringe.

Thanks. 2 days ago I changed my weightlifting routine. I am paying attention more to form than tons of reps. My first workout with this new form was biceps and triceps and 2 days later I am still sore as hell. I am in a 4 week cutting phase which I just started 2 days ago also so I am excited to see what I will look like in a month.

I am coming off a cycle of creatine so hopefully that water bulge will go away. I have some extra strength diet pills coming in the next few days so I will let you know of the results and the product if it works. I measured my arms around a month ago and they came in at 15 inches. I measured yesterday and they have grown an inch to 16 inches so I am feeling pretty pumped up about that. I have not seen much in the way of chest development but still have most of my fat on my frontside. My left trap has a large bulge now but the right trap has nothing(arrghhh). I am seeing a little muscle development in the back but nothing big. Of course, I have only been lifting for like 6 weeks and only heavier for maybe 2-3 weeks tops so I understand it will take time. My wife has been giving me a few compliments which she hates doing so something must be working. Will update again in 2 weeks. I am hoping to lose 5 pounds in that time if my diet pills make it here in time.
Here is the update I promised. The supplements I took this week are the EC Stack(look it up on google) and a product called Lean Xtreme. I also added some green tea extract. I did no cheating whatsoever. In one week I lost 6 lbs and 1.5 inches off my waist and I look alot thinner.

Net week's update. Hey SbrJohn you still doing this since you started it all? Things are getting alot harder now with my goal of 200 approaching. I am pretty sure I may have to adjust it to around 190 though. I joined a gym yesterday so I am hoping that helps and lost another 2.5 lbs this week. This is the start of week 3 of my 4 week supplement diet. The first 2 are without cardio and the next 2 will be with cardio. I asked my wife if I could do an hour of sex a day as my cardio but was shot down so I am gonna have to suffer the hard way.

Congrats dude and keep up the good work!! When you meet that goal of 200 or 190 what ever it is, it gets easy to slide back into old habits but stay focused and keep it off!!

6'4" weighing in at 195lbs. Currently bulking to 220lbs.

Started at 155lbs last year, so I'm stoked with my progress.

                            Son-OF-a-bisquit eater!

Thats super! We actually have similiar stats. In Mar 07 when I restarted my diet I was:
Starting Weight: 237 lbs (was 244 in 06)
                            Starting waist: 40 in

                            Current weight: 198.5 lbs
                            Current waist 35.5 in

Spent a fortune on new cloths...twice!

I hit a wall at 212, spent months breaking thru and again at 201. I'm aiming for 192 by bash time. Feel great. You come to the bash and I will take you and your wife out for the best dinner money can buy in Vegas town.(assuming you can weigh in under 208 )

John and everyone else. Well done.

There is actually a lot of articles this year about how betting on weight loss is very helpful in getting it done. Provides a different level of motivation when money is on it. I currently have a couple bets I started last month, and it has been helpful. No one has had to payout yet and we have all been consistently losing some weight.

Been a month so seeing how everyone is doing on their diet. I left off it and went on a bulk phase which will end in about 2 weeks and then back to cutting. In the last 1 1/2 weeks I have put back on about 15 lbs with a ton of fat lol but you gotta take the good with the bad since I am adding muscle also. Arms have gone from 15 in to 16.5 so I am pretty happy there. How is everyone else doing?
