Landers that steak looked awesome, but really bro a coke to wash it down? A bottle (or at least a glass) of a decent Cab or Pinot Noir would have enhanced your meal 2x.

$65 not alot of money to spend for a great steak.
Ruth Chris' steaks are excellent - but too much butter at times
The best steaks are the ones you grill yourself (if you know how).
NYC and Chicago have the best steakhouses.
Deuce - ever had a steak at Lelli's or Camerons?

Ruth Chris sucks
Capital Grille is much better if you're looking in that price range. BLT, Smith and Wollensky's, Bobby Vanns. All good spots.
If you're ever in Charleston, check out Halls Chophouse.
[B][B]They key isn't getting rich quick. The key is getting rich slowly, and enjoying it.
ruths chris sucks. it is the fast food of steak places. i have eaten in almost every great steakhouse in nyc. the two best IMO are blt prime and keen's. those two places piss on ruths chris

This time be sure they don't forget about your steak sittin on the grill. And get a side of ketchup, it will go well with your coke.

People spend $65 at Applebees. WTF! And send that fukin steak back. Those assholes at Ruth Chris get carried away with their 800 degree broiler or whatever the fuk the waiter tells you when your ordering.

Grocery store, $10 steak, mushrooms, butter, beer. $20 no tip and watch whatever you want on Tv instead of being surrounded by a bunch of prissy a holes.

Gotta agree with what a lot of people are saying...I've never had a steak 100+ but I know that I can't tell a huge difference looking back on any steak at a nice restaurant to a steak at an AMAZING restaurant. At the time maybe I can, but its not one of those things I look back on and 100% know which steak was the best. Peter Lugers still is pretty damn good though. More of a burger guy myself though. Spotted Pig in Tribeca has a damn good burger, as well as Hillstone/Houston's.

RUth is the best Chain.. next to Shula's steak house.. If you haven't been to a Shula's you are missing out..
I would also take Capital grill over Ruth Chris.. as well as Any Smith and Wollenksy ( south beach miami my favorite) .. Chop House in Ann Arbor (PACO have you been here? Place is Bomb!) , Prime 112 in South Beach,
Alexandar's Steak house in San Jose.. the list goes on and on..

Visited Ruth Chris for the first time last month for a friend's B-day here in Toronto. I selected the 'Prime Time Dinner special' which is available from 4:30 to 6:30pm and for $60, you get a 3 course meal. Had the Lobster Bisque soup to start off, 11oz Filet with Mashed Pototoes as the side and Tartufo for dessert. Very tasty and nice. If your not into the soup, you do have alternate selections like House or Ceasar salad. For the main entree, if your not into the Filet, you can choose from a Seafood catch of the day or Chicken entree. Certainly will go back soon. The only thing I did not like was the $17 parking bill as this restaurant is located in downtown Toronto. Not sure if the 'Prime Time Dinner" special is also offered in the US but you guys may want to consider that as an alternate option.
