    Sportsbook.com second 1/2 Line N.E. @ N.Y.G
I am a total rookie here and it has been awhile aprox. 2 years since doing any considerable wagering. Anyway I will try and keep this short and make my point. I thought I would jump back in and have some fun so I pulled up my account at Sportsbook.com and it was active so I thought I would put a few skins in the old account and make things interesting in the Bowling and NFL play off season. Ok enough rambling.

At the second 1/2 I look at the line and see N.E. -10 and the O/U at 24 and threw a few skins at an N.E. -10 and Over 24 on a parlay. But my action was not excepted because their so called rule was there is no 1/2 time parlays allowed where the line favorite and the Over are on the same ticket.

I'm sure I have combined the Line Favorite with the Over in the past and was wondering if this is standard practice in the industry ?

Oh Yea and that is how I found SBR , Great Site !!! also I will be taking my business to one of SBR's "A" rated Books after reading the problems Sportsbook.com is having with there customers.

P.S. I Know the ticket would have lost anyway, just thought it was an odd rule.

    Just my Two-Cents
    Thanks,

First off, Welcome to the SBR forum ChampDog

Sportsbook.com is not a book you really want to play at if you can help it. They have "robbed" a ton of players in 2007 on multiple occasions.

The books I would recommend to you would be WSEX or BetJamaica.

Be glad they didn't let you play it. It's a correlated parlay, and you have the best of it. It is so good, most books will not allow you to bet it.

In the past, sportsbook.com accepted these wagers, and canceled 1000's of dollars of winners. (They didn't cancel losers, contrary to what they said).

Who cares what the line is? It could be NE+100

You still have less of a chance of winning that than getting your money

            No problem sir.

I feel you will be very happy if you choose either Wsex or BetJamaica. In fact I wrote a brief summery up on both these top tier well established books for you below.

BetJamaica is more of a recreation book and does offer nice reload bonuses, however since they are a recreational book they could cut your limits. They don't offer a live chat service, but they do answer their emails within 5-10 minutes. The banking options aren't the greatest out there, but nobody's are these days for U.S. customers, however they also offer one free payout via Fedex per calender month (min. $200), and $35 flat fee after (usually receive checks within 3 days). The lines they offer are very competitive with most other books IMO.

WSEX has more of a professional type flavor to them, and will not cut your limits. Their customer service is very good, and they do offer a live chat feature which is a plus for those who want their question answered ASAP without picking up a phone and dialing. They also offer a low rake poker room if thats your thing, as well as live betting on selective games on a daily basis.Their banking option aren't exactly the best, but again I say it's do to the U.S. law restrictions, and the withdraws for Fedex checks are reasonable at only $30 (usually received within 2-4 days). Bonuses are hardly offered, but they do send out special email offers and or special reload offers on their website from time to time.

Hey bigboy, I too have an account on sportsbook.com and decided to recently switch to a better book thanks to the advice and forum posters on SBR. I now have something set up at BetJM, would you recommend having more then one? I am thinking about WS and Bookmaker - anythoughts on bookmaker as well? Thanks for the input in advance

Anyone else having problems viewing Withdrawals history on Sportsbook.com?

I am pulling all my funds from them and moving to another site but all the sudden they have disabled from my history.

I have made 2 significant withdrawals recently and haven't been paid yet and now i cant view my history either. Just curious if this is a site wide issue or if i am personally being screwed.

BookMaker has been around since the 80's and they are top notch when it comes to the safety of a players funds. They offer a 20% signup bonus, and overnight lines. Keep in mind that it's "safety" of your funds is what you need to focus on especially these days. They also offer one free payout a month if you acquire enough loyalty points. However, if you don't have enough of those loyalty points, then your going to be extremely gouged by them when it comes to withdraw fees.

Thanks bigboy, I am registed on Bookmaker just have not deposited on there yet. Do you have any advice best way to deposit for somebody in U.S.? Also I'll check out about the loyalty points but is it easy to earn the points to use for the withdraw fees or do you have to bet like huge and huge amounts each day?

The best way IMO is always either depositing with Western Union, MoneyGram, or book-to-book transfers (when applicable). Now as far as the loyalty points go. Here is a link that will explain it best.
