It's ridiculous talking about whether you love teasers or hate them. It's all a matter of number of points, and the odds. I bet most people here wouldn't mind 2 team 10 point teasers for +100. I bet most people would hate 2 team 5 point teasers for -150.

Talking about teasers in generalities is meaningless. It should always be a function of the different variables.

i'm def. no expert - but there are ways of having a +EV (expected value). you gotta read a book or 2 or wade hard into the tank. you will not find prolly half the ideas Durito and others have found without your own database (building mine now) - but you will not be a sucker anymore.

not sure bout you guys but sucking big cheesy bookmaker's nuts is not my idea of a good time.

I didn't know teasers were thought of as a sucker bet. I just started betting online at the start of this football season and so far I see real value in betting them. I've won on a bunch of them, the only one I've been screwed on was last week where I did a 4 team teaser and had the Cardinals at +20 and they got destroyed.

I don't understand the animosity toward teasers. They seem fairly easy to win if you bet right, like last week I did:

New York Giants vs. Indianapolis Colts Over 35½
Indianapolis Colts +8
New Orleans Saints +7
New Orleans Saints vs. San Francisco 49ers Over 31
