    Sportsbook questions...
    Hi,

Another reason why its so lame to bet on sportsbook...my sportsbook beted.com makes you wait 30 days from your last credit card deposit to make a withdrawal. Why is this? Why do sportsbook make it so hard for you to withdraw money. All my deposits cleared and I have about $3000 in cleared deposits via eCheck and only about 50 dollars in credit card deposits, yet they make me wait 30 days from my last cc deposit to withdraw money?

Anyone know if other sportsbook have this rule? Also, why do they have this rule in the first place?

    Thanks.

Beted makes you jump through hoops to get paid. They want the extra time to review your account and see why you're winning.

It's basically just a standard processing rule for some books in order to have things verified. Now as far as a list of books that currently have this rule goes. I believe 5Dimes, Skybook, BetUS, and Bodog all currently have this type of infostructure in place.

In general, with credit card deposits, the reason for the 30 day policy is to discredit you from reversing the charge. I stand by my original statement with Beted--they hate paying winners and will make you jump thru hoops to prove who you are. I had to fax and scan my info several times to them. Find a better Book.

          Hi, thanks for the replies.

I wish I knew about this rule before....I could have sworn their customer support did not mention anything about this when I asked about withdrawing rules. But It is also my dumb self to not read the small print on their cc deposit screen...if I have only known. Would have looked closer if I wasn't told otherwise.

Hedge, your comment really concerns me ...I always thought BetEd was a good sportsbook...they have been really nice to me (but of course its cuz I'm a losing compulsive type player). I have already verified both my CC and checking info via Forms so thats not a concern. Hopefully when the 30 days is up, the withdrawal process goes good. They are just hoping for me not to have any remaining balance by then.

Not to worry. They just have extra verification procedures. They'll pay after they dick you around awhile, assuming you haven't lost it back by then. That's their plan.

Hi guys, just wanted to update this thread.

The customer support and manager at BetED helped me a bit by letting me withdraw it since they valued me as a customer. I also seem to bug them a lot and most of the time they have showed me great support. So I guess from my experience, they are actually okay. But like most companies, they'll be times where you'll think otherwise. But I guess thats just life.....

              Anyhow, cheers.
