My 20 year High School Reunion was last weekend. I didn't go but I AM 1100 miles away now. A friend of mine that now lives in Japan actually went. Funny thing is, he talked to almost nobody in High School. I guess he wants to tell everyone how successful he is now. That's a decent reason to go I suppose. I'm thinking maybe I'll go to my 30 year reunion and I'll tell everyone I invented Post It Notes.Comment -

go. I just went to my 20 last Oct. I like checking out the fine ones that went bad with time. Then you will have fine azz cougars / milfs that had no game in HS but are superstars now. Fu(k there were at least 5 that fall into that catageory.

Didn't go to the 10 (not sure we had one) but I went to the 20 this past fall.
It was awesome.
To anyone on the fence - go. It only happens once. All we did was have a good time - because of spouses and some tough to recognize faces, it was nothing at all like a homeroom 20 years on. Not at all.
And there was no hotshot running around talking about his successful career & bs, either. That image is straight out of Sitcom Plots 101.
Plus, I had the idea that I was going to be see all the former hotties turned into fatties.
That really wasn't the case at all. The women who show up (for the most part) are the ones who did not let themselves go to sh*t. For the most part the ones who showed looked good (some really, really good) I think they helped make it a fun night.
The train wrecks definitely stayed home, probably uttered some of the same lines I'm reading in this thread.
