I am tempted to agree with Sunde a bit here, but in order to make sure if she really is not interested you need to talk to her. Now, AC or no AC, rich or poor...if she cares about that you don't want to be with her anyway (or at least so I hope). Just walk up to her (without buying anything, those are the small details that impress) and say something like,

Imagine a scale: football season versus the possibility of ...hmmm....fill in the blank here ...If football outweighs, then you will be on the sofa, sipping on a beer, eating chips (the ones that are shaped like little bowls) and dip, alone. And this is fine, I have no problem with that. I used to manage a convenience store and the dudes that stopped in to talk to the good looking/flirtatious female clerks were quickly regarded as real creeps. If you hang around much longer than the transaction takes you are likewise a total creep. The regulars at convenience stores are the people we made fun of every day.
