i think the movie: street fighter, the legend of chun-li is the best movie i watched for the last couple of years. the girl play chun-li is the actress from smallville (Lang Lang). so cute.

I didn't see it myself, but a friend of mine did and said 25% of the people walked out during the film.

I've heard its amazing. Get a brain dude. In regards to Avatar, that movie did suck. It was very predictable, but it was more an experience (albeit an annoying one in 3D after awhile) than a movie.

Don't drink the Kool-Aid. I usually do agree with the consensus of reviews, but in this case, I think they liked the effects and were giving it credit for being an "ambitious" and "complex" movie.

Let me just ask you this. Do the following things seem reasonable to you?

1) That someone could be an "architect" of your dream, like somehow design the city or landscape in YOUR dream? (and by the way they never once show how any of this happens, or how anything happens, you're just supposed to go with it) And then a bunch of people can somehow get into your dream and take taxis and shoot guns and have discussions, even though it's your fukking dream?

2) That there could be a dream within a dream within a dream? This makes ZERO sense.

3) That in your dream, lots of random shit can be going on with characters in other rooms and other places where you are NOT? It's YOUR fukking dream!

The whole thing is ridiculous and impossible to believe.

And believe it or not, that's only PART of the problem... it just gets worse from there.

Inception isn’t a bad film; it’s just incomprehensible due to a weighty script rather than because it’s too “deep.” The majority of the film takes place in dreams and as each scene goes by you’re in another dream and another dream and another dream — there are so many dreams within dreams, I thought I might’ve been dreaming. Films about dreams are always challenging, considering most dreams aren’t linear and the creators can go as far as they want, which is clearly what Chris Nolan did. There are subconscious killers, upside-down skylines, Daddy issues, freight trains, corporate drama, military-trained dream protectors and some excellent fighting scenes. Inception needs to be simplified.

I thought it was good, didn't seem that hard to follow. Could have been a little bit shorter imo. Would definitely recommend seeing it. There were points in the movie where I would of said 9+, others at an 8. You should be able to tell if you're going to like it.

JUST SAW IT:

Holy F*ck that was THE best movie I have seen in a while....hands down the movie of the year...

Also it is pretty straight forward in the "given" plotline - the more ambiguous and arty interpretation is there for you to figure out and ponder if you want but man - it is straight forward if you pay attention...

Better than Sixth Sense....and Matrix combined - better than Avatar - if this movie doesn't get nominated in every category it would be a shame....

If you like movies like Momento or Watchmen, you will probably like Inception. If you didn't like both of those, you probably won't like Inception.

And your breaking down of the movie of it not making sense, points to you wanting a movie that you want to be 100% predictable. The movie is about 2nd and 3rd level dreams; you could say Superman movies are horrible because no one can use their eyes as lasers. The movie talks about how army was the one that started it all, but never used i past killing people. And who can say that this could never be possible, being able to control someones dreams.

Reviews look good and DiCaprio just doesn't make bad movies. The best actor right now IMO

Not in a million years was this better than The Sixth Sense, now that was a movie. Character development, plot, genuine tension, story arc, scares, twists. Though the director hasn't come close since.

The Matrix and Avatar were both good but overrated.

That's funny, I LOVED Memento and liked Watchmen a ton -- still hated Inception. So I don't think that comparison works.

No, I absolutely do not want my movies to be predictable, that's not what I'm talking about at all with this.

I think I can safely say this would never be possible.
