JJ, I don't think nor have any delussions that anything I say will ever make a difference. I just speak what I feel is right. Most will never see eye to eye with me or even understand the reasoning behind my actions. I deliver my message in a subtle way but there is still a message. I could cuss and shout and be really nasty about it but unless face to face there is hardly any intimidation ground to be gained.

I am consulting with others though to give more of an edge in e-battles for the future. Maybe not here but wherever I may land.

Flyer, in part it is ONLY a forum but at the same time it reflects life. Sure these are all a bunch of anonymous names on a posting site but the words that are printed are a mirror image of what is actually happening in the real world.

I realize most are different but there are those that are who they are regardless if it's online or not. Some people have core values that do not allow them to depart from those values. If we can easily escape those values simply because we are online then they aren't real values in the first place are they?

I try to keep my arguments civil and if a point is made that I don't see a double standard in then I can listen to it. That hasn't happened yet. All that has been said thus far is "this is how it is and how it shall be" Left at that there is nothing I can say. Follow that up by giving an example that is rediculous and an obvious double standard though and I can't just let it slide.

Its not rocket science. You bring over a threat of violence from a banned poster you will likely have your account moderated ala Cougar Bait. We do not want banned posters threatening SBR members. If that upsets you then blame me because I approve of this moderation. The poster had his account suspended for 10 days for posting threats to a regular SBR poster from a banned poster. Its barely a slap on the wrist. It would of been at least 3 months if I had seen it first. We will not have that here and again if you are here to see members threatened and that kind of drama do us all a favor and do not return.

Why would a threat from a banned poster be any different than a threat from a nonbanned poster? If you're worried about the violence then there is no difference, not like someone banned is inherently more dangerous than a poster not yet banned. The more you talk the more clear it becomes this action was taken because Bread was involved, that's the only possible reason. The sooner you quit overreacting to everything he says and does the sooner this forum will get over all the nonsense. It's like walking your dog, if you run and freak out everytime you hear a siren eventually the dog learns to freak out as well when he hears it. Not sure what you're trying to prove but the sooner you get over the people that have left the better the forum will be, especially since you have made it clear that if some of your better posters get in the way they too are expendable. If you aren't sure what the term death from friendly fire means, ask Cougar Bait, he knows.


BTW for the record if someone is threatening me at another forum (banned poster or not) I would appreciate a heads up. Seriously, please stop with the "Illini is a victim here and I'm trying to protect him" angle. He should be thankful that post was brought over, I know I would be. If that threat is out there maybe he makes different arrangements for the bash. Maybe he doesn't bring his wife and kids if he has any. Maybe he lines up a retainer before he shows up, maybe he doesn't show up at all. Who knows, maybe he does nothing. The point is though Cougar was doing Illini a favor, he was making him aware, he didn't harm him in any way. The only person who was harmed in all this was you. I know the decision is made and nothing is going to be changed, I know you aren't going to admit you are wrong. But for the LOVE OF GOD can we at least agree going forward to stop using Iliini as the victim here. Cougar quoted Bread, you and Bread are at odds and that brought the punishment. To pretend otherwise is an insult to all of us. 'Nuff said.

That's true but in a way these places become a home away from home so to speak. How this place is run largely is going to happen because of the feedback they get. If something happens that you have a strong opinion about I think Wal is right, he should make a point to be heard. Busting balls just to bust them on every little thing that comes up is one thing, but when something like this happens and you don't weigh in don't bitch the next time it happens, even if it happens to you.

I do not think Johnny is protecting Illini here, that kid has more artillery than anyone on a forum, he has posted his machine guns and rifles and he looks the type that is not afraid to use it. Why does he have all these guns??? I would not fuk with him.

Ok now to Bread...is he dangerous??? He seems to be and how do we know he has not killed before?? How do we know he did not do 10 years in Pentinville Penn?? The kid is scary especially when he wears that cowboy hat, who knows maybe he thinks he is a real life cowboy and can do anything he wants. I for one am deathly afraid of this guy, he also intimidates the young guys on forums and these poor kids are afraid of him.

Wal doesn't matter, Coug knows he was instigating and bringing over posts from a banned poster. Common sense says if you bring over comments and threats of violence from a banned poster then you could draw some moderation and even lose your SBR privileges. No biggie. If you are offended or anyone else is that's unfortunate and I apologize sincerely. But it was the right call and I back it and I apologize the most to the poster that was threatened. He should never have to worry about a banned poster coming here by proxy and physically threatening him.

if it's about "bringing over posts" that are "physically threatening", then common sense would dictate to edit and delete the "physically threatening" brought over portion of the post.

then give cougar an infraction, and move the thread to private zone.

But since the "physically threatening" brought over portion of the post was never deleted, one would assume that has nothing to do with why cougar was banned.
