I agree with you but there's a way to do things. Most employees give their company 2 weeks notice before they walk off the job. Imagine a top executive leaving the company high and dry to another competitor. While it happens, common courtesy would at least warrant a call. Lebron is built for the regular season. Once the playoffs start he sandbags his team which makes them shrink.
How come Lebron led teams always look great during the regular season but horrible in the playoffs? Maybe because Lebron turns into this ball hogging, not trusting your team mates guy??? Funny how so many people say he's the "ultimate" team mate, yet he's gotten more team mates fired than Donald Trump. He plays the blame game in crunch time then says he needs more help once he loses. He puts up a horrible effort in 5 of 6 games of this series but never once took responsibility. Just more excuses and how his elbow was a factor but oh, no excuses.
He's a Diva that has to have his way. He doesn't want a coach to actually coach him because he already knows it all. He doesn't want anyone on the team to outshine him because he's the "King". Do you really think he can play with D. Wade? his ego would allow it. Even on the dream team he had the audacity to say that he led the top 11 guys in the world, like he's some type of players/coach. If he was a true teammate he would have never created this Lebron sweepstakes the last 2 years. You don't think that was a huge distraction in this series??? If he was really all about team he would have already recommitted to the team that committed everything to him already. How come he didn't come out and say "I'm staying in Cleveland and I want the best players to come here". Why does he have to go to where the best players are?? Your the King aren't you? Why would the king go become a follower?
Just several weeks ago he said that he was not going anywhere until he brought Cleveland a title. That looks like it was all fluff.
He has done nothing to improve his mid range. It's either jack up a 3 or ram his way to the basket. He wants the team to improve yet he's not willing to do the same. Leaders lead by example, not quit on the basketball court.
I'm glad Lebron is a Cav, he's done wonders for the team but hopefully he will come to his senses and one day own up to his own shortcomings and become a greater player and teammate.Comment -
