I am always interested in seeing what people use the Iphone mostly for. I can honestly tell you that I have never once used the Ipod on my Iphone. I use it for Emails and internet.

I prefer the droid overall but what I do like about the iphone is the whole syncing to itunes to automatically download all the podcasts I listed to every day. I still use my iphone touch for this purpose.

Anyone know a good solution to do this on the Android based phones?

This is the truth....I was a blackberry guy and I loved it more than anything but they have fallen behind so far.

I used to say that blackberry was the obvious choice for those that are business minded but I don't think so anymore. I use my phone mostly for work and I switched to the HTC Incredible and it is great. There are some things that still need to be worked out as I am sure there are on every device but the performance is 2nd to none.

I am sure RIM will come up with something soon but they better do it quick. Their last releases have been the Storm and the Storm2 which have been gigantic flops. The touch screens on both of those phones is just FAR inferior to those of other smart phones. The other issue is the apps....there are about 1/10th the apps as the the iphone and the droids.

I've used Iphone....Have a EVO now...and had a blackberry.


Blackberry hands down was my favorite....I'm just getting used to android, and the EVO, I like it, the music player on there is fine with me, it gets the job done. I like having XM satellite on my phone, and like Pandora.

All the phones do the same thing. It's all about who's a fanboy of what.

The sales figures completely disagree with old times thinking. The new iphone has been the most successful launch in terms of #'s of any Apple product.

Rimm is close to dead. Look at the chart, there is a reason the stock is tanking. Blackberry could be going the way of Nokia. They need to change things dramatically and fast. There OS is old and tired.

My EVO is way faster with both internet and launching applications than my friends Iphone 4.

Internet access without having to lug around a netbook is what I need and the big screen and speed of the EVO fits my needs well.

If you are buying an exspensive phone with data service for use as an MP3 player you need to have your head examined.
