I was referring to when we have NFL, CFB, CBB, NBA, NHL all going at the same time... Plus the SBR match ups would need to be clicked individually to see and are not printable. Why would one person want to print 16 sheets for NFL matchups on sunday when they could print 1 sheet with all the same information. Think about during NBA, CBB season only, you would be viewing and printing over 50 sheets per day. I would spend most of time printing matchups instead of handicapping. This method is useful for the "Old School" capper with the different color pens and highlighters... you know what I mean!

I and quite of few other here rarely use SBR matchups because of this... being able to print 1 sheet per sport seems more convenient and you have all your information on the same sheet.

John, just so you know, I wasn't suggesting Players Talk name be changed just the mindset of those that don't like the content. I was commenting on the way some perceive what Players Talk means and how individual forums are more inline with what their concepts are.

Players Talk is a name that is recognized throughout forumville (as you like to call it) and is as much an identity of SBR as JJ is. Would never suggest changing it's name.

Unfortunately our provider wasn't able to offer them to us to display on SBR Odds. We're attempting to import them an alternate way.

We do have the following information pages on the World Cup though: World Cup Download packet, Best World Cup Sportsbooks guide - in addition we have a $2,000 trivia contest, and $1,000 picks contest running in our Soccer Forum.

Why isn't it ? obviously you cant have every book available.... but I'm sure you could easily set up special accounts at your sponsors.. you could have a list of available books, and the SBR escrow account # posted... players could transfer, and just alert you afterwards..

poster 1 transfers to SBR Escrow account at book A
poster 2 transfers to SBR Escrow account at book B

SBR escrow keeps 3% or $5 commission, , whichever is greater..but capped at a certain amount.

SBR transfers to poster 1 at book B
SBR transfers to poster 2 at book A

I presume there is some reason I'm missing why this could not happen... what is it?

what about parlays with other sports, like mma. A lot of people want it and have wanted it for awhile because we were aloud to do it before. Is their a reason why the option is no longer available?

It surely cannot be because of the payout odds, which is what I was told months ago, because someone has a 5 points to win 65k points parlay going right now.

Hi Brooks,

We will green light the boxing/MMA parlays today when the sportsbook team gets in.

Right now you can parlay tennis, soccer, and all the major sports leagues.

I second this... I damn near got arrested last time I ordered a pizza! They are refusing to accept SBR paying for a pizza, because when they come to deliver they want to see the card!

We can't do this because the software is funky, when set to 1 point it doesn't charge juice correctly.

Giving away 7 points per day for logging in/posting, I think the minimum of 5 points is fair.

I will throw in a small suggestion. Can the 128 and 256 Man Tournies be randomized instead or playing in the order of sign up. The first 16 posters to sign up are in one bracket and in the order of sign up. Perhaps a randomized way once everyone is set?

instead of a casino rebate, i'd get different software, that was not so blatently rigged to the house's favor. current blackjack software is more one-sided than bet jamaica's.

It's a good suggestion, we will see what that entails and try to get that done as we fine-tune SBRpicks headed into the fall.

I would start a Bash contest. The format would be head to head baseball.
The winner would receive the following.
SBR rents a 1964 Studebaker and has SBR John stand by the baggage carousel
with a cardboard sign with the winners name.
Sbr John drives the winner to the Nugget and they also receive a room up grade.

How about a marketplace sub forum where people can buy/sell/trade. It can be self moderated by posters and SBR does not have to have take any responsibility for the transactions that take place there. It should have a warning "trade at your own risk" and "use common sense" . I think it would be a good addition to the forum.

Hey here's a suggestion....let's close this thread because every conceivable idea has been volunteered and now it's turned into "let's see if we can get SBR to pay our rent and get us hookers...for free of course."

Althoughhhhhhhhh, there was this idea floating in the back of my mind about a handicapping contest that pits the posters against Justin (or the SBR staff in general). It will cost X amount of points to enter and if the SBR team wins, they get all the points. If the posters win, then one of the SBR ladies does a video, recapping the contest and issuing props to the posters by name while slowly disrobing. How far she disrobes, well, that is up to the thinktank of SBR. Just a thought that came to mind after perusing a Dad thread.
