Halladay hasn't pitched well lately, and Philly is hitting like they're blindfolded at the plate.

Like it. Lost 3 in a row, due for a huge game, Phils break slump.

Once (if) the game gets past the starters, Philly has the huge advantage in the bullpen. So those odds are pretty good considering that.

Tough game to call. Two stud pitchers, one team can't hit at all now so I'd lean Florida.

DONT BET AGAINST SLUMPS/STREAKS in MLB
if both aces are going, wouldn't you rather have the ace at +105, who happens to be at home
I'd love the under if it wasn't -120 already at most places.

Go all in on Halladay. Same situation set up today in Cardinals vs. Cubs, where Carpenter was the starting pitcher at -110. Don't go all reverse psychology and over-think this. Hit the Phillies hard.

If Wells didn't completely choke then the score would have been 2-1. I would hardly go all in with a team that is really struggling to hit at the moment and on the road.

They won today. They will win again tomorrow. Cardinals loss were struggling to score. Then in the last game of the series with Padres, they put up 8. Next day they played the Cubs and put up 7. You will see a similar scoring output by the Phillies.

Hmmm I just don't see how you can compare the Cardinals to the Phillies. I also don't think it is reasonable to say the Phillies bust out of their slump tomorrow, with no evidence in recent games to say they will, and put up 7 or 8 on Florida's ace, but who knows?

Small play on Marlins here. Love home doggies especially when the starter is 3-0 with a 0.45 ERA his last 3 starts. Frankly JJ has been good all season too, not just lately. Not a large play/opinion, just one of 4 smallish dogs I am on tomorrow. Good luck men.

not only the doc is playing bad lately, and not only phillies are playing avarage lately, the price is right for the marlins and they are not bad lately. marlins or no play.

best response so far... any plus money play is a good play regardless of your reasoning.
few other stats
Halladay - 1 game @ Landshark - 0-1, 6 IP, 8 hits, 4 runs. Toronto lost 4-1. It was in 2006.
