I think it is mostly hype, just because there is correlation does not prove causation. The US has the highest rates of autism in children, and we also have the highest vaccination rates. People put two and two together and assume the shots are the problem.

its a combination of things, such as food for example. Shoving a shot in the arm doesn't make everything go away.
