if i were doing it over again i think i would skip the schooling and learn a trade like plumbing that can still pay the bills even when people aren't building too much in terms of new construction. then you're making money instead of spending it on school for years that may or may not pay off.

not true. Most people do not have the balls to do anything on their own. Tons of financial companies you can work with for yourself. The problem is most people are not willing to do the work to see the positive results.

Yeah, and you only need a 4 year degree in Engineering. As long as you go to a decent school for it, and do well you can make alot of me money right outta school in almost any engineering field. My school has a half decent engineer program and my buddy just graduated and is making 73,000 right outta school.

Go into business for yourself. I made the decision 16 years ago I would never have a boss or work for someone. Only way to get ahead is to go into business for yourself. Unless you become a good Dentist, Doctor or high powered Attorney. Sure you there are professions where you can make 6 figures easy but do you want to be on the high end close to 7? Orale

My father and I have a machine shop...Just the 2 of us working there, and it is hands down the best thing I've ever decided to do. My dad does all the office work, getting jobs and whatnot, I do most of the work.

Why? Help me out here, I don't see the demand. Traditionally it has always been females and everyone is used to it.

You might experience discrimination from female patients when it comes to intimate areas. Most are accustomed to female nurses and won't be as comfortable with a male nurse.

Lot of women aren't comfortable with a male doctor either but they would be even less comfortable with a male nurse.

Stay with something hands on and something that can't be outsourced. Plumber, electrician, auto repair are good, but make sure you are in business for yourself. or go work for someone until you get all of your certifications and education, then leave for your own business.

Im finishing up some classes for my metronics or fiber optics certificate. Which entails a lot of cabling. Starting will range anywhere from 65-75k depending on what company you get into. I know a manager at ATT so ill try to get in over there. The certificate alone is only 17 units which you can knock out in a semester if you have a basic understanding of what your already learning.


Fiber Optics Certificate
