Ohtani Is On A Flight To Toronto

If he is actually flying to Toronto, then the Blue Jays have to have him in the bag. If they were still negotiating, the team would come to him, not the other way around.

He already met the brash in Bradenton. If he's on that plane, he's a Blue Jay.

If he's a Blue Jay his agents had best ask for payment in USD.

Ohtani was reported to be en route to Toronto by Jon Morosi of MLB.com, though Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports that Ohtani is at home in Southern California.

Last I checked Rogers Communications was a 33-billion-dollar industry.
What's 800 million to them, like a twenty-dollar bill to us regular jabronis?

It's been The Buzz on all our local Sports Talk Shows all week. Rogers have a license to print money in this country. A government that allows them and Bell to have a monopoly on the Communicaton Industry. It's not my money so give him what he wants and GO Jays GO

Angels ruined him with overuse. He'll never have a healthy full season again.

Agree with this which is also why I have this weird feeling the Angels might still get him only to have the worlds worst contract on their books after about 3 years.

Toronto has a rather large Asian community there and he might really like it. So, the move makes sense to me.

Don't you wish you were the one in charge of the Federal Reserve Offshore Bank that provides all this fiat to the US? You basically can take whatever you want. Nobody is watching you or telling you what you can do. FREE-FOR-ALL.

MLB Network's Jon Morosi reported that Shohei Ohtani is expected to sign by the end of this weekend.

It's abundantly clear at this point that Shohei Ohtani is neither operating on anyone's timeline other than his own nor divulging any information to anyone in the media.

A few days after re-signing reliever Joe Kelly to a one-year, $8 million deal, the Dodgers asked if he would be willing to change his uniform number, which just so happens to match Shohei Ohtani's, per USA Today's Bob Nightengale.

Dodgers are worse than Steinbrenner in the 80's with the spending.

Might as well just start disbanding teams like the Royals and the Pirates who clearly can't compete.

No way he would have signed with Toronto and that crap weather when he can go across the street with chance to play in a World Series every year.

    Fixed your post.

I'm starting to think there may have been a little 'funny business' that went on between Boras and Morosi?
