* Family and friends
* Canadians and the accent in general
* Feeling safe both inside and outside my home
* Running around in a bikini and complaining about the heat when it's 25 degrees
* Kraft peanut butter and Russian dressing and a dessert made only in my hometown
* Knowing my son will get an excellent education when the time comes. And even better, it's free!
* By far the least racist, bigoted, most open-minded country I've lived in (and I've lived in quite a few)
* Hockey Night in Canada
* Summer weekends at camp
* Beer. Even when I can find Canadian beer other places, it never tastes the same.
* Health-care system. It's not perfect but it's bloody damn good.
* Robin's coffee (sorry, I love Timmy's too but for some reason I love Robin's more!)

I live in what the newspapers and tv like to remind us every day is the sporting capital of the world. And either the 3rd or 8th most liveable city depending on who you ask. Which I guess maybe it is since it's actually quite an awesome city.

I really don't have many complaints about it other than the fact that home invasions are increasing and I would hate to be a young guy going out to party in the CBD. Bashings and knife attacks are becoming quite popular here unfortunately. But in my defence, I did get sucked in when I got offered to move here as I forgot the whole either side of the Equator thing. I had the chance to live much further north, but to me north = much colder so I went quite south instead. Arrived here in August in a mini skirt.
