Philly fans show their support in parking lots, beating this shit out of the fans of other teams. That's real team spirit.

Fish what happened is when the Flyers first started they where a very reasonable season ticket(Like ALL of the 4 major sports) and the Phillies,Eagles and 76'ers Suked.A large number of season tickets where bought up by the guys who worked in the Oil refining Industry located across the Delaware River in South Jersey and by the guys who worked for Dupont in Northern Delaware. At that time the Spectrum rocked and Fathers would bring their Kids to see Clarkie and Bernie and Schultzy and the rest of The Broad street bullies and watch the city get is first championship in over 35+ years
But as salaries went up from union contracts for these industries these kids got the opportunity to go to some of the best colleges in the nation
And those that came back to the city after school and got the white collar job and moved to the Suburbs still loved their Flyers but something was lost when they moved from the spectrum and now are bringing their children to the game but not allowing them to get as excited as grandpa does/did about the beloved Flyers

Fishhead I just got back from the game...the crowd, for most of the game, was nuts. Things settled at the end but trust me, it was loud and rowdy.

Can hardly blame the fans. The Flyers had lots of opportunities on the power play but hardly touched the puck. They were their own worst enemy and ran the clock out on themselves looking for the perfect setup instead of just throwing it towards the net and crashing the crease. Bobby Boucher let in some bad goals too. I hope people realize now that this guy is a 3rd string goalie for a reason.

Hey fish what do you expect us to cheer when were getting our ass kicked down 3-0. Funny thing is after half the crowd left at the end, the amount reamaining is still more than the amount of people to show up for marlins games. Quit taking shots at the best sports town and fans on the planet.

Not taking shots, just reporting what I see, and I've watched the vast majority of hockey playoff games this year..........good day.

unfair
down 2 with 4 to go with a very banged up team missing their LEADING GOAL SCORER and Gagne as well and two goalies that had save percentages over .900 probably had something to do with it.
it is hard enough to win in the playoffs let alone doing it missing some of your best players. and i hate the fukkin flyers, but i must declare bullshit on OP

I think its a strech to say Philly the worst home crowd in NHL playoffs - they are usually the typical philly knuckleheads (for better or for worse). I thinkt he lack of energy in the players was felt by the fans, not the other way around. They looked like they were half asleep.
