    WSJ tries explaining viewership drop...
    https://www.wsj.com/articles/nfl-ratings-drop-leaves-networks-scrambling-to-make-advertisers-whole-11607781600

...AND, in the last paragraph of the entire story, you get to the viewer backlash from social justice lol

Way to not report but rather cover up a material fact

because it's not really a "material fact"

sports ratings are down across the board and down for non-woke/mighty white sporting events:
    -kentucky derby
    -golf
    -tennis
    -hockey

The NBA was fukking blacked out of China

Anheuser Busch had to drop Budweiser as a NBA sponsor due to international pressure and instead inserted domestic Mich Ultra

Tens of thousands of people wrote Gooddell about the kneeling

Drew Brees, a hero, damn near got run out of New Orleans

Not a material factor, get out from under your rock and join the rest of us in reality!

But the main response to this would be who cares honestly? It’s not like the nfl is just going to close up shop. Do we really care if they make 5 billion instead of 15 billion?

Well my point was the irony of the journalist blatantly avoiding the truth till they had no choice but to give it lip service.

You're taught in English 101 that only 5% of readers of an article read past the 3rd paragraph.

not one thing that you wrote here explains, in any way, why sports ratings are down across the board for all sports, not just the ones you consider "woke."

Remember how you thought social justice was ruining the NFL and then all these QBs came along and ratings went through the roof? The whole COVID product is not real good.

When you have sellout crowds, the ratings will be as high as ever.

NBA is a young man's league. They don't care about social justice.

Old guys can't turn off the NFL.

LOL ok so if we look at golf ratings 2018/2019 they are same or higher than 2014 levels for Masters, PGA & US Open.

UFC ratings are at an all time high, surging in fact.

Tennis ratings always dependent upon players, but last July Federer/ Joker Wimbledon was an all time high.

These are Sports Media Watch figures, but NFL been dropping since the kneeling, NBA same thing since Lebron got a Twitter account.

Every sport on ESPN is dying in ratings, every sport w a social justice message on their jerseys or court or stadium is turning off LARGE chunks of their former fanbase.

This is why the NBA has taken off the social justice bullshit from the court and jerseys.

But the WSJ did enlighten us, finally, at the end of the story...so good work WSJ

                      LOL. Golf and UFC.

People are cutting the cord like crazy. The ratings have to go down. They aren't counting the stuff that is getting watched by other methods.

2nd paragraph is definitely true that’s why this world is so full of misinformation and confusion. People don’t take the time to vet anything they read. If it fits there precious thoughts they just take it as true
