NBA TV Ratings are in the toilet

This thread pretty much bash the NBA? I myself can;t get enough of the NBA, and the times perfect for me (Games starting at 10.30 est start 2.30 pm here). I wasn't expecting any different from a gambling forum of course.

I personally love the playoffs and I've seen just about all the games so far but I've found myself nodding from time to time with these late ass games. It's 1am CST and the game just ended and I have to be in the office in 6 hours. If your Eastern time it's 2am. That's too dam late for those folks, especially on a week day. Lot's of viewers on the East coast and you lost all of them this late at night.

not much has happened this season and the refs are horrible. The worst part is now they can review replays it just slows down the game and they still get the call wrong

hahaha i agree, the replays don't help much when it comes to the overall number of blown calls.

i agree with this one also.......being a white guy that loves nba hoops, i heard some racist stuff over the years when i asked why don't you have this certain game on tv, its a good series.

Comparing NBA television ratings to over a decade back isn't fair, as there were fewer channels and information outlets then. The best way to determine the success of the business is probably total revenue.

Thats what I'm beginning to think...I've seemed to catch most games so far, or at least parts of them. Minus the Lakers/OKC series, don't care to watch either of those teams too much.

haha. nothing is better than the NHL playoffs. NBA is tight, but the emotion in a home and home is ridiculous in the regular season, then stretch that over 7 with better teams... shiiiiii.
