    mahomes had a losing 13-16 record at texas tech. he is a good qb but no one is good enough to carry an entire team. his greatest value is that he is cheap right now and allows you to spend more on the rest of the team. once he starts making 50 million in two years then we will see how great he is with a below average team around him.

    From my understanding the way he structured his deal kc will continue being able to field a solid team around him, I doubt he ever has a cap hit that huge in any season (in fact his cap hit is not even 40 mil In any season until the 7th year of the deal!) . The cap will continue rising (even if it does fall back next year cause the rona), and there always be guys who will take less to come play with him!!

    Texas tech a garbage program plus he still had a lot to learn. Kc a top shelf well run franchise. You will never see him playing with bunch of scrubs.
