Vegas Dave has always been a weasel and a stiff.
He's been stiffing people for 30 years, if not longer.
I don't know the entire story, just bits and pieces.
Apparently, there's a 30-million-dollar judgment against him.
The judge told Dave to turn over all his assets; Dave told the judge I don't own anything anymore...
A week later, the DA proved that was another one of Vegas Dave's lies.
I read he slipped away before the Judge issued a no-bail warrant; once arrested, he'll turn up sometime, and he'll be in prison until he settles that debt. The judge made sure that was etched in stone too.

On top of everything else, he perjured himself too.
What I don't get.
Dave's been a notorious scammer for years; it's common knowledge in the community that he's a con man and a master manipulator, yet people fall for his shit. Some of them are veteran gamblers; they should know better than to front him money, and he still cons them.
In this day and age of high-speed information delivery, it's inexcusable to get stiffed by him.
He's either the greatest con man since P.T. Barnum, or people don't take the time to do a deep dive on the man who tells you he has inside information straight from the coaching staff; can't miss information that he'll sell to you at a discount price of a couple of thousand dollars.
This isn't the dial-up era from the nineties.
