not to mention the fact that CFL players make less per year than I do.
I haven't respected that league ever since we had a Calgary Stampeders player as a substitute teacher. Most CFL players have offseason jobs (how pathetic!) not to mention having 2 teams with the same GOD DAMN name. COME ON!

I want to watch the Pens in OT but I'm watching Ratatoville instead because I'm watching my 3 year old niece and trying to follow it online.

i hope this thread is closed. live hockey, second only to boxing, is one of the greatest live sporting events. there are too many ignorant posts in this thread to comment on specifically, but hockey is a great sport and the most predictable in all of sports betting.

I wouldn't say the most predictable. Per game, I'd say it's baseball. But the games are awesome. Even a team like the Penguins who on paper should crush the Ottawa Senators needed 6 games, and a few of them were neck and neck and into OT. great game to watch

let's go one at a time on your bullshit. do you get paid by the thread or by number of responses to said thread?

how many teams had a losing record at home?

                      1

how many teams had losing road records?

                      14

that is one less reason, you are down to 3

BTW, your post about not being able to "spell" the names of stars, that's probably you have troubles spelling in general. Have you never seen Gretzky's, Lemieux's, Kovalchuk's, Sedin's, Forsberg's, etc. name in print? Or do you need to see something 1000 times before you can remember how to spell it?

The reason was hockey isn't ad popular is 1) because of the lockout which lost many of the casual viewers and 2) cuz hockey is a sport that isn't mainly dominated by American athletes.. There are alot of international players and the problem is that the general American public can't connect to players that give terrible interviews, can't speak English, and aren't marketable

Die. Watch a WR take a hit from a monster linebacker over the middle and go into convulsions and I think you might change your mind.

Also, I love watching hockey in person and on tv during the playoffs/olympics etc. It is just hard to follow for americans b/c they don't teach/play it in general (not many rinks around) and the media doesn't cover it well (touting up stars, strategy etc).

Basically it is a cultural thing. As for soccer, I think you have to be sick in the head. I have tried. I played it for 8 years (thanks dad, really). I can't stand it for one second.
