How many pro athletes start an acceptance speech or an interview with I would like to thank God first for blessing me with my ability or something simular to that.....Maybe somebody who lives it and doent just profess it applies a sort of unspoken accountabilty to those who talk the talk but doesnt walk the christian walk....bottom line it is an individuals right to believe what ever they choose and with all of the other pro players that buy thier way out of trouble with out of court settlements it is refreshing to see someone who is of high character and morals on the big stage....I hope he succeeds

That entire story is bullshit. Totally made up. Tebow never tried to get players to pray before the exam. Just stupid haters.

Tebow has gone up against all the top QB's and out performed them all. Jamarcus Russell, Jevan Snead, Sam Bradford, Matthew Stafford, Tony Pike, etc. In each of those games he was head and shoulder's better than all of them. His accuracy is one of the highest ever in the SEC but idiots like Kiper and McShay say he has accuracy problems (while they drooled over Jamarcus Russell who couldn't hit the broad side of a barn). Tebow easily has been the best athlete on the field in every game he played including Percy Harvin and Louis Murphy. He's excelled at every level and is a tireless worker. Do you really think Brady Quinn is a better option? We already know that he hasn't done shit in several years.

This was a home run for Denver. Tebow will make an impact immediately in the red zone. Someone in Jacksonville needs their ass kicked because no way in hell were they supposed to let him go.

McDaniels is making a big risk here---he gave away a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th round pick for Tebow..which is fine, but he already has two QBs that he traded for.

Just look at Drew Brees---he was a second round pick---while busts like JaMarcus Russell and Matt Leinart were high first round picks.

I agree, I mean since when is Kyle Orton all of a sudden a prize possession. Brandon Marshall made him look much better than he really is, and you do realize Orton was 2-8 over the last 10 games. Denver was doing some wheeling and dealing all night to trade for this, so the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th pick was kind of like house money. They still had another 1st round pick and have 2 picks early in the 2nd round. Shred move by Denver.

Someone brought this up many posts ago: If you're a Broncos fan, you ought to be royally PO'd today. A first-round draft pick is supposed to be able to go to rookie orientation to training camp to the starting lineup, and by all accounts, Tebow isn't talented enough to go that route. If you want to take a chance with him in the third round or after, fine, but Round 1 is absurd. Denver deserves to go 0-16 for showing such stupidity.

This was a terrible trade. There is simply no way around it. Tebow is going to be garbage this season and next. Eventually he may become an average QB, but nothing more. In the mean time, that moron McDaniel did absolutely nothing to improve this team or fill any of it's needs. Denver now has three weak armed QB's, and no one to throw the ball to.
