Practically every Trump supporter on SBR is guaranteeing a Trump victory. And not only a victory... a LANDSLIDE!
Vitterd is saying... "he has a very little chance." He's not saying it's a lock he will lose. My question is... why don't all the Trump supporters on here have their life savings on Trump? He's still a small dog... if you can get a dog price that you feel is a "LOCK" then that's an incredible value.
Right now I would give Trump about a 45% to 48% chance. But as we get closer to election time Trump will increase his fear tactics. "If you vote for a Democrat your 401K savings will be lost" "If you vote for a Democrat the stock market will crash" "If you vote for a Democrat we will go into a recession" "If you vote for a Democrat we'll be at war with N. Korea" etc etc... This is what he does, and it's very effective. He'll get a lot of swing votes this way. It may or may not be enough to win. It wouldn't surprise me either way.
I agree those lock comments are just as bad. Vittard's comment was just the first extreme one I read.
Right now the line is so close to being even because the election is so far away. I think anything between +100 and +150 for Trump has no +ev. I also think Biden at +600 is the best bet right now; I got it at +800. He should be one of the last 3 Dems before the DNC elections.

Trump just got embarrassed in deep red Louisiana and deep red Kentucky. All of the gop retirements make me think it’s going to be a blood bath in 2020 and the democrats might even take back the senate. Hopefully Bernie Sanders gets the democrat nomination because I don’t want Elizabeth warren to be president. Trump is an out of touch boomer approaching a new generation of voters while trumps voters are dying off everyday.

LA gov elect also the son of a prior gov, a Democrat and LA has had 2 dem and 2 rep gov last 4.
