This applies year-round, but especially at this time of year. Beware of being overly exposed at questionable books. NBA playoffs will be done in six weeks. Historically, if a book is going to close shop and stiff players, they do it in June/July. It's still only April, but if you have bigger balances at sketchy shops, it might be time to try to move some of that money out. This thread isn't intended to create panic and I don't have any books in mind that may be on the brink of failure, but it's just something to keep in mind at this time of year.

#2Rarely a book goes belly up anymore, they just usually get bought up by another outfit. In past years this might of been true.Comment -

#7Off Shore Books can go down in a flat second. They can simply run out of funds, get slammed by the Federal Government, or any other number of possibilities. Anyone who gambles in here and who does so using off shore books should be well aware of which books are on solid backing and which are not. It is never a wise idea to have all of your eggs invested in one basket, especially one off shore. I think that the advice given in this thread is very legitimate, and should be looked at seriously.Comment -
