Good Luck
Houston +3
The Houston Cougars are now 33-3 on the season. And no team has been more impressive than the Cougars thus far in the NCAA Tournament. They disposed of Georgia State by 29 as 12.5-point favorites and Ohio State by 15 as 6.5-point favorites. And remember, they should have beaten runner-up Michigan in the NCAA Tournament last year, but lost on a buzzer-beater.
The Kentucky Wildcats were fortunate to get by Wofford last round. They won 62-56 and were never covering the 5-point spread until the closing seconds. Wofford’s best player went 0-for-12 from 3-point range to boot, basically handing them the game.
It’s uncertain whether or not Kentucky’s best player in PJ Washington (14.8 PPG, 7.6 RPG) will play tonight as he is questionable with a foot injury. He has missed the first two games of the tournament, and even if they decide to play him, he won’t be 100%. I don’t really think it matters as I expect the Cougars to win this game outright.
Houston is 11-2 ATS when the line is +3 to -3 over the last two seasons. The Cougars are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 non-conference games. Houston is 35-16-2 ATS in its last 53 games overall. The Wildcats are 1-4 ATS in their last five games following an ATS win.
