Like long time as in more than 6 months.

Was just wondering when I can expect to not have withdrawal symptoms anymore. Fuking head is killing me. JJ call me. Sick gambla dot com.

how long have your withdrawal symptons been lasting? I've never gotten addicted to either, I have used both a few times but never understood the appeal.

Smoking is for weak lemmings. I will never understand smokers. But really, what's to understand? If you are a smoker, you are weak.

I respect you more if you smoke crack. If you smoke crack, there is a payoff. If you smoke cigs, you're just a weak pussy. And it doesn't if you're some 6'5", 270 lb street thug from slum in Paris who smokes... Smoking is for pussies.

I had a coworker who smoked for about five years, hadn't touched the stuff in over a year, and is a huge prick because of it.

this guy was already a pessimist so i think quitting only excerbated his personality, and he still chews the gum. biggest complaints were the headaches and drinking wasn't nearly as fun for him without cigs.

damn that seems like a long time, try and stick with it though bro, it will be worth it. Don't have to worry about getting lung cancer when you are older plus the money you save will add up.

                      Do you exercise, Patty?

Most smokers have terrible diets and habits. They eat shit and smoke shit... and don't exercise. So you likely need to change all of that. Not just for your smoking, but for your overall health.

I imagine you eat a lot of processed garbage American food. Hell, combine that w/ no exercise and smoking... might as well put your heart in a blender.

I quit smoking last summer, so almost a year without it.

First 3 days were horrible, once you hit the 4th day its all downhill!! And I quit cold turkey, no pussy ass nicoret patches or gum, be a man, grab your balls, and just do it!!!

                            Good luck
Men get fifty dollars for a sperm donation. I've got a towel at home thats worth $250,000. It's leaning up against the wall in my bedroom

You may be like I was. I had headaches for 3 months because of a sinus infection after quitting. I actually had to go to the doctor and have a catscan done. They couldn't find anything. Then, about a week after I got the results, my sinuses drained one day and my headaches went away. They were so congested I could hear and feel them drain from my temple all the way down to my nasal passage. Once they drained, it was the best feeling in the world. Try using some sort of allergy decongestant and see if that helps at all.

Haven't taken a puff since late July.

I was miserable for months but now I don't feel like I'm going to go into cardiac arrest when I run in the morning.

Best thing I did in all of 2009 was stop smoking

I quit 4 or 5 years ago and haven't had a cigarette since. I still have cravings on occasion.

So you likely need to change all of that. Not just for your smoking, but for your overall health. I imagine you eat a lot of processed garbage American food. Hell, combine that w/ no exercise and smoking... might as well put your heart in a blender.
Good stuff Driller, I've been dippin Cope for about 13 years now, tried to quit on a few occasions but couldn't do it and have now accepted the fact I will always dip until the day I die. I'm a tin per day dipper by the way. As for what Driller said, I have noticed when I'm in training and shit, running, lifting, and eating healthy, that I will dip less frequently that if I was on my regular routine of doing **** all as far as exercising and eating burgers and pizza weekly. Its not quitting but I go probably from a tin a day not working out to a tin every 2 days when I am working out, adds up over the long haul and at least gives me a little extra time on Earth and a few extra dollars in my pocket. Don't know the reasoning but have to agree with Driller here, working out cuts down the cravings IMO.

Last time I ceased for any length was a month ago for 5 straight days. I am hoping to abstain from smoking for the remainder of my life beginning April 12th, 2010. Wish me luck.

Went to the hospital and was told my dad would be dead in hours. Stopped cold turkey that day and had no withdrawal symptoms at all. Then met my wife and started again and can't stop. It's brutal. I'm told the nicotine crave impulses the brain at a higher rate than Heroin. Good Luck. I'm trying to stop myself.
