As is the case in 90% of contests entered, luck was the overriding factor over skill at approximently a 12-1 ratio.

I'm sure that you got a better line, right?
You're going to tell me that I'm an idiot, genius, aardvark, einstein, what else ya got?
Uhh. According to closing numbers (ML -117/+106), you had an ROI of -1.97% (+106.92 line adjusted for Matchbook commission).
I had Rhode Island as a pick -110 with a 0.91% ROI.

Firstly, working one hour a day making $10 equates to working 365 hours a year to make $3,650.
Secondly, over say the last ten years, on average I've not spent more then 365 hours per year on contests and have made an average profit far, far exceeding the $3,650 threshhold.
Umm. I used your numbers of $1500-$3000/year. You're telling me it takes less than an hour a day to play in all of SBR's contests? Puleez.

Bad bets win on occasion, but mostly they lose. That's why you rarely have points. Enjoy them while you can, kiddo.

Don't play in all of them.
..........so having said that, way less.
Now, having said that, SBR POINTS are fun and cute, but certainly nothing to have multiple orgasms over.

So you're saying Carolina was a bad bet?
Have you ever played organized sports or watched a game in your life?
90% of SBR was on Rhode Island last night, because they thought it was the "SHARP" bet.
Games are played on the field, not on a fukking computer.

Well if you play in less, then your expected return would be less...
Suffice to say, if you're playing contests to build a bankroll, you are far better off getting a job and saving the money to put into it rather than play contests. Not only will you make more money for your time invested, but you can hammer it out MUCH faster.

Yes. Carolina was a bad bet at ANY widely available number. I'm probably more of an athlete than you and since you've been on the Earth about 12 years, I've probably watched about 10 times as many games as you since I'm watching about 8 games at once in Vegas sportsbooks. However, NEITHER of those have ANYTHING to do with understanding the fundamentals of the math involved behind gambling. And it's quite clear that you haven't the faintest clue.

Sorry for your loss with Rhode Island. Obviously, you don't follow college hoops.
A winning wager is a bad bet, huh? Unreal, just when I thought this place couldn't get any worse, it has!
Plus, this clown claims to be an athlete?

If I gave you a bet of -105 to correctly call the flip of a fair coin, you call tails, and the flip lands tails, did you make a good bet? How about after the 1,000th flip? Do you actually think you'll have any money left if you keep playing against me? Are you really this fukkin stupid? You don't understand the first thing about probability. LOL.
