2002 when the Oakland A's won 20 straight games in baseball.. I jumped on that early and by game 6 I was max betting every game.. Won thousands on that streak... I also had a very good year of betting baseball besides that streak on top of that...

Couple years ago might be a tie as I destroyed the books with my best year of MMA betting.. Kept winning card after card for large...One card I hit for like 20 grand which was my personal best ever.. Hitting $500 dog hit's like crazy on all books..

Hard to say my best year ever though to be honest because I've had several really good ones over the past 2 decades....

I won $12,500 on Super Bowl 45, so it's whatever year that game was.

It was a miracle I never expect to duplicate in my life.

Some good stories here but I would bet most of us have way more bad years

not sure about best year but won 37000 at track one day. My buddies trainer used to claim horses and swim them back to health. The week before I was given a horse that finished badly when he was supposed to run. I had in a pick 3 a 50-1/30-1/ and a 3 -1. The 50-1 I had the tri exacta and win. 30-1 had the exacta and win . Had enough money to bet 7000 on the 3-1. Went to strip bar and blew a shitload. Bought tickets to o.s.u wyoming in football. Had a great time blowing the money. Month later was broke again. But I had a hell of a memory

so true, especially lot of sports books in those days were shot takers. Some went broke. I go a step further
from 1999-2006 when the government attached an anti-gambling legislation to a fund the war bill, offshore was actually a license to steal.

If you had a wad of money in WWTS, Carib, Pinnacle, Las Palmas, BoDog, Olympic, Intertops & even WSEX which
was solvent in those days there odds differed so much scalping ot arbitrage was there for you. But the key
was NETTELLER which enabled you to put cash into the book you always lost in like Pinnacle from a book you always won in like CRIS or Las Palmas in a matter of minutes.

I haven't bet Tennis in 10 years but in those days you could always know exactly when Carib would show
odds on the majors & they were so different than say Pinnacle that many times I made enough money that if I wanted to, I could have flown to the French Open & enjoyed an entire weekend with the money I made
                      betting it.

When Aces Gold went under after the Superbowl when Brady won his first against the 'Greatest show on turf'
I had a 36,000 balance in there, lost forever, & still made money that year. Great memories.

Nowadays I hardly ever bet it's too hard to make money, I have a thousand or so in 5dimes, Bookmaker,
& ABC Islands I raerely see a scalp & am lucky to break even as has been the case in the last 4 or 5 years.
