Love how the guy is a fat slob hypocrite... like most of those liberal cack-eating fvcks.
The reason why Moore is a fat slob is b/c McDonald's double cheeseburger has too many grams of fat. Lmfao. Newflash Mr. Moore and Fat Black Weatherman.... don't stuff your face like a fat hog on the farm and you won't blimp up to over 200 kilos.
Fvcking retards.
glad we're having this Moore discussion... justamente on the day of the illegal immigration march for their rights on Washington... LMFAO.

When the 1% tax debate was going on I told SBR_John to remove me from the points program to help with the burden so other posters can benefit. I was murdering the book and made this good will gesture for the benefit of my fellow posters.
Did you bet my soccer picks today? I went 6-1.

yep.
oh wait, he's against the lowest form of capitalism? great. lovely. that's a freaking news flash and a half.
so he tries to separate the bad from the good? the real world doesn't work that way, Mr. Moore.
compete and total hypocrite. don't believe me? see below:
"The funniest moments of all in the movie, though, may just be in the opening and closing credits. We see that the movie is presented by "Paramount Vantage" in association with the Weinstein Company. Bob and Harvey Weinstein are listed as executive producers. If Mr. Moore appreciates any of the irony here he sure doesn't share it with viewers, but for those members of the audience who are in on the secret it's all kind of amusing. Paramount Vantage, after all, is controlled by Viacom, on whose board sit none other than Sumner Redstone and former Bear Stearns executive Ace Greenberg, who aren't exactly socialists.
The Weinstein Company announced it was funded with a $490 million private placement in which Goldman Sachs advised. The press release announcing the deal quoted a Goldman spokesman saying, "We are very pleased to be a part of this exciting new venture and look forward to an ongoing relationship with The Weinstein Company."
Knowing that background puts the rest of the movie in a different context. Mr. Moore shows Rep. Dennis Kucinich asking rhetorically on the floor of the House of Representatives, "Is this the United States Congress or the board of directors of Goldman Sachs?" Later, Mr. Moore shows up at Goldman Sachs headquarters in Manhattan driving an armored Brinks trunk and announcing, "We're here to get the money back for the American people." Maybe Mr. Moore should look in his own pockets."

You don't even have to watch it to know it's shit; just watch the trailer.
The guy's an idiot.
First, THIS is what he calls capitalism? Are you kidding? Heavy state regulation, government coorperating with big business, insanely high progressive taxation, progressive social policy, centralized banking, a government that keeps getting bigger and bigger making the private sector smaller and smaller and more difficult to run/get into...what ****ing joke. This is a mixed economy that is becomming more state capitalist.
Second, he blames "Wall Street" for the bail-outs. Typical leftist mindset. Blame private sector for problems that would not exist if not for government involement. The government is the one who gave-in to Wall Street; they're the ones who are corrupt; they're the ones who are at fault. Did Wall Street take tax payer money and give it to themselves? Of course not. How this fat **** can be so dogmatic and disingenous is beyond me.
Third, all of these "corporations" he goes after exist and have so much power, primarily, because of the state. They are state enforced quasi monopolies. The state creates barriers to entry, the state grants special privlege to them, and the state gives into their lobbyists.

I'm all ears. I am open to suggestion as well, so if i am clearly wrong please interpret Michael Moore's film from the correct angle instead of my obviously twisted perspective.

actually, you seem to be missing the point.
his film, denouncing the capitalistic system, was funded (in part), by the same people he attempts to denounce in his film. that is old fashioned hypocrisy.
further, the capitalistic system, has allowed him to stuff his pockets full of money. Did he screen this film for free? no-he charged full price. Can I rent this film for free? no.
what are we missing here? the message behind his movies? no-got that loud and clear.
fill me in also...

Let me get this straight. Was he supposed to ask Chavez and Castro for funds to produce the film because the film was against capitalism? I'm not getting your point here.

everyone needs money
Goldman Sachs and other Wall Street businesses MAKE more money than anyone else
if it weren't for them, there wouldn't BE money (which we ALL need) for all of us to have
so Michael Moore wants to destroy the few places like Wall Street and other capitalist places that actually make money??
what an idiot! now I get it!

man, the way you backed up this premise with detailed specifics and examples was truly impressive.
i mean, i had my doubts but when you said that one thing and then the other...man, you really did some homework on this one.
it does strike me funny though that this guy gets so much media play and attention when NO ONE watches his piece of shit lie riddled films:
Michael Moore's latest movie, “Capitalism: A Love Story,” which, incidentally, berates the free enterprise system that made Moore rich, had its first wide release weekend, playing in 962 screens across the country.
Moviegoers would apparently prefer to watch the living dead a la “Zombieland” than Moore's sophomoric propaganda, because Moore’s flick placed seventh, bringing in $4.9 million and tying with Drew Barrymore's directorial debut, "Whip It."
Drew's film actually had a better reception than Moore's. "Capitalism" played in almost twice as many theaters as "Whip It" but brought in an equal amount.
Moore's last film, “Sicko,” which, capitalistically speaking, execs viewed as disappointing, brought in $4.4 million in box-office take from 441 screens, less than half of the theaters in which “Capitalism” was released.

Yeah, I heard it was pretty good. A couple things always struck me as odd though.
1. If it weren't for Capitalism Michael Moore would be working at Blockbuster Video, not living in the Dakota (where John Lennon lived).
2. If Capitalism were so evil, why not let us all see your movie for free Michael? Oh yeah, you want to make money. "Moore himself is one of these ultra-wealthy few, with a net worth exceeding $50 million. On November 1, 2005, World Net Daily reported that the anti-capitalist Moore -- who had proudly declared "I don't own a single share of stock!" -- in fact owned tens of thousands of shares in U.S. stocks. Most notably, Moore owned more than 2,000 shares in Halliburton -- the gas and oil company he excoriated in his film Fahrenheit 9/11."
Suckers believe what Moore says because he distorts the truth in order to make his point. Sicko is a perfect example. Just do an online search to see the lies that were exposed in that movie.
