This contest is the hardest to win. You have to get the pick correct and assign it the best possible value. I think the contest takes away a lot of risk aversion. Most just will not give up Double Digit points on a team when in reality a lot of the bowl games end up being blow outs. The most important thing in my capping for this contest is not who is the best team, but which team is the most motivated to play in an exhibition game in which no one cares about. Coaches leave, players get suspended or boycott, players don't want to get hurt, and most of these teams are spending the majority of the time seeing what young players can do in the 15 practices versus practicing their regular season starters. It's one big clusterfuck. If it weren't for these contests I wouldn't care about but 3 bowl games. The semis and the final.

I went 2-0 with a 3* and 1* but moved SDSU from 2 to 1 and had UTSA and Ark St in my first draft.. With having to cap so many at once and then try to order them when I didn't really feel more strongly about one more than the other, it's easy to skip a few plays then look back at them and wonder why you didn't take them

It was a little inflated because 80% of the field had Louisville. This year over half had New Mexico

you want to go into the final game in the low 20's. mid 20s would make you sitting pretty

...and SBR, as much as I want Old Dominion to win...I have 6 points, not 8 :-)

I have already lost a 1* and a 2* so if Idaho takes a bad loss today it's pretty much over for my chances of winning. Bad line to boot. May become a top candidate for the last place lol
