Who cares, go to Destin, Ft. Walton Beach, or hundreds of other destinations and you'll clearly see what the UN is missing. You can't compare places like Destin to Detroit...you just can't. I'd rather live in Orlando than any icy abode in Canada...and most Canadians probably would too.

LOL, you've probably never been to Canada before, or maybe you were way up in the Northwest Territories... it was 19 Celsius (66 Fahrenheit) today in Toronto, we're not the frozen tundra you think we are... is the only argument you guys have against Canada is the weather??? And I'm sure that the U.N. took into consideration every city from in the U.S. from Albany, New York to Zachow, Wisconsin. If Orlando is just so great, then why doesn't everyone live there? Why do more people migrate to New York, Chicago and Los Angeles (the U.S.'s largest cities)?... btw I've been to both Orlando and New York City and NYC takes Orlando out into a dark alley and pummels it with a Louisville Slugger... NYC is the one city in the US that I really enjoy visiting, and Vegas of course... never been to San Fran, but I've heard nothing but good things about it...

Who the hell cares? i have beautiful waether 12 months a year and you freeze your asses off 7 months a year. i was in Canada one time in my life and i couldn't wait to leave. I wanted to kill my girlfriend for wanting to go to Canada to see the falls. I froze my ass off for 5 days. Plus, the wind was blowing 30mph. it was 30 degrees below zero for the 5 days. Thats no vacation. Dont tell me about beautiful Canada. come on down to the beaches in sunny Calif where women dont have to wear clothes to stay warm.

1) biased studies that weren't done by a independent source. anyone can skew anything to their liking.
2) think our illegal immigration problem may have skewed some of these #'s? america is special because anyone can live here and succeed, we have a lot of immigrants, illegal and unillegal, with many problems and issues most other americans dont have.
3) the eye ball test. no one wants to live in canada. people travel to the USA way more. you don't see illegal immigrants running to canada.
