Kansas has not chance at winning now. They can't rebound for shit. Giving N Iowa 2nd chance points is just so unforgivable given all the big guys Kansas has. Collins picked the wrong time to have his worst ever shooting game.

Northern Iowa (30-4) won the tempo tug-of-war, grounding the high-flying Jayhawks with in-their-jersey defense, then withstood a furious rally to become the first team to beat a No. 1 seed in the second round since UAB and Alabama did it to Kentucky and Stanford in 2004.
The ninth-seeded Panthers led early and made just enough plays late to pull off the biggest win in their history.
Kansas (33-3) trailed nearly the entire game, finally pulling close in the closing minutes behind its fullcourt pressure. The Jayhawks never made it all the way back, though, bowing out early in what was supposed to be another title run.Comment -

Northern Iowa was criminally underseeded.
The committee did a terrible job this year.
Some of the horrible choices:
Villanova being a #2
Duke getting by far the easiest region, with no tough teams in their bracket
Northern Iowa getting a #9, when they deserved at least a #6
Notre Dame getting a #6, when they deserved no better than a #10
Utah State getting a #12, when they should've been at least a #10
