If you work, doing anything you can, and make $15,000 a year barely scraping by & working your ass off for nothing you cant get govt assistance. But if you will set flat of your ass & do nothing & not try to help yourself you can get everything including healthcare.

These threads are funny because we process everything through our own life experiences. We are only capable of understanding life trough the lens of how we've lived and what we've been "taught". For example what constitutes a hard life to one person is laughable to another. It's all relevant, until you either walk a mile in another person's shoes or take an extreme effort to see another point of view you won't be able to identify with it. Although understandable it's almost comical we blame the poor guy we feel is cheating the system for our problems rather than the vast waste that goes on at government levels. It's like at Walmart watching 7 security guards tackle some hungry 10 yard old kid in front of the store with a pack of baloney down his pants while at the same time they are stealing it in truckloads out the back of the store but nobody cares. That's white education we all recieve whether we realize it or not. We blame the little man for cheating the system when in fact the real culprits are the guy we're having a cocktail with down at the country club.

Now the flip side of course is the education the black community recieves and takes for gospel has some holes as well but we will save that for another day. i think you also are confusing anger with jealousy. Socialism doesn't work. a blend of capitalism and socialism will fail once it gets so far out of balance it collapses the free market side.

Adam Smith, invisible hand, all of that. capitalism works because the vast majority of people will put their own self interest ahead of that of the state. in the pursuit of securing the best possible financial status for themselves and their family or loved ones, they will produce, contribute and purchase.

when you introduce long term incomes that give people a life style they deem suitable and comfortable, they will discontinue striving to achieve, effectively removing themselves from the market. the market needs everyone, or nearly everyone involved to keep the machine running. the market is efficient and much more so than government. government cannot create jobs, it can only create market conditions favorable to the creation of jobs. or, as with this administration, it can create an atmosphere of fear and uncertainty that leads to business holding firm and putting a freeze on hiring.

one thing we should all keep in mind, when obama attacks insurance companies, he is attacking companies that employ hundreds upon hundreds of thousands of Americans. same with banks.

This thread actually makes me feel sorry for ppl making 60k a year at their jobs, its not just that the govt is taking and redistributing everything they've worked for their whole lives (and then of course 60k/year "rich" man who works 60 hrs/week with a wife and 2 kids loses his job to China and gets foreclosed on and has no savings left bc it all went to the crack baby factories whose biggest fear is getting a job) its that seemingly intelligent ppl like GB, Masu and others support this.
